Look at AJ down 4% since 5pm! Pretty close to breaking 8/16 daily loss levels.. Newswire on AJ had rumors of an Australian bank with heavy losses on the brink, just rumors though.

Now that 8742 is gone, then 8539 is open and then the 200dma at 8432

We're holding right around the 8700 figure, I expect another drop to 8652 to test the bulls resolve. From there we might not see much as it's an early day in the US.

I have not heard of any big losses or on the brink, going ex dividend so a price drop. The banks here are isolated /insulated from sub prime in US........

Aj dropped nicely to complete a retracement to it's supporting TL, looks like a good entry for a long around 93.50 IMO

can't see any reason why this should fall further.

AU sitting patiently at .8700 wating for AJ to turn and then of we go again.

I am not sure what impact this will have on the AJ and AU. I will be watching the markets closely come Monday.
Labour party won the Australian federal election. Liberals out after 4 straight terms. Could be some major policy shifts in the coming months. It was a big swing against the government too. IN some electorates up to 15%. So we are looking at having labour controlling both state and federal government.

i don't think we'll get much lower than 8770, small gap on my charts to close plus some pivots and MA's mixed accross Daily, 4h and 1h.

not sure if thats a 200sma point, my daily is around 8450 and my 4h is at 9016, can't believe servers could be so different?

still would like to get in at 8750.
