meant to Add it's also the last day of the month tomorrow so it's likely profit taking will occur and give us some good buying opertunities.

LOL yeah man, this pair is such a beast even a scalp, which i just did doesn't feel kosher. I see now we're trending lower again. the 9170 region is propping it for now. I didnt have a s/l just watched it. I'm flat now, exited for -3 pips so all in all a 12 pip haul lol

Looking at the 1hr. chart (short term) The waves seem to be corrective as in they are sharing the same price range, Okay the 4hr almost looks impulsive but a very sloppy impulsive. Conflicting signals so I will stay out until it shows some strenght of where it wants to go, I am still bullish.

Thursday's the day i think, end of month out the way, views should start to consider the coming month and with the potential interest rise the longs will be back, with any luck we will make a new low tomorrow and get it cheap. both Aj and Au look to be grinding lower slowly and reluctantly.

Bullish until my charts say different.

exactly. Plus let's not forget the Japanese rate decision is tonight. We will see really good buying level for that.

been away for the last 2 weeks so not upto speed on the Jpy rate, anything expected from it.

Still bullish but no position (never bit the bullet last week...). I don't see any reason to get bearish on AU or AJ at this point (especially the latter given UJ's bounce off of 114). BOJ was a snoozefest, perhaps we'll get a better reaction from FOMC.

German house prices and GBP retail sales just shot higher, so the dollar selling parade continues undeterred for the time being.

Strong US Data, contrary to expectations, so Aud's down a bit vs the USD but still good v the Jpy. This rate cute might not be so clear cut.

Something that caught my eye today was noticing the retail position bias on AU. It's the first time I've ever seen a majority of retail on the right side of the trade. Granted, I haven't been monitoring the ratios for very long, but for the other majors, they've always shown the complete opposite of the trend direction (ex. USD/CAD net 80% long for most of '07..). Interesting to say the least, it's always good when the majority are benefiting, just rare to see it.

Interesting indeed. BTW I look for a strong Europe/London open on this pair. The trade data allowed for some profit taking so now we're below the 9300 level again.
