Here is a 5min chart of USD/JPY, with the best entry points for this method, this can act as reference to newbies and for all of us when to take the trades ane be confident and not to have fear and greed and to have patience.Ignored

DislikedBeen doing some calculations on price movement and liquidity of different pairs.
Basically I took the volume levels for the last year from the history section in Metatrader multiplied by the average daily pip movement and then divided by the spread to give a rating.
Surprise, surprise GBP/JPY had the highest rating even with the biggest spread.
What is the best spread anyone has found for the GBP/JPY?Ignored

DislikedHi Bern
Just use 0.85 on 15min, ur profits will increase by 25%![]()
Enter for long when it goes above 0.15 , exit when it goes to 1.00 and turns down to 0.90
Enter for short when it goes below 0.90 , exit when it goes to 0.00and turns up to 0.15

DislikedImran,
which SL and TP for M15? in gbp/usd; gbp/jpy; usd/jpy, same configurations?Ignored
DislikedSL and TP are different for each , it is as below, this is what i use, u can experiment and see which suits u
GBP/USD - SL - 20 Pips TP 60 Pips or S1/R1 and S2/R2
GBP/JPY - SL - 25 Pips TP 100 Pips or S1/R1 and S2/R2
USD/JPY - SL - 20 Pips TP 50 Pips or S1/R1 and S2/R2Ignored
DislikedForgive me, but I'm not sure exactly what the purpose of this chart is. So the gbp/jpy was the highest rating...what does that mean? It has the most movement? most volume? most potential for good trades? I'm basically clueless on what you're trying to show us. Any further explaination would be appreciated!Ignored
DislikedThank you Imran for your system, generosity and patience. I am looking forward to begin demoing it this eve, though I spent most weekend reading over 100 pages, I still got a question about the settings for lag1 and lag2 that I may have missed in the pages I haven't read yet.
On post#200 pag.14, new rules:
LaGuerre 1 ( for entry ) - Gamma 0.55, levels 0.10, 0.90, bars to read 9500 color green
LaGuerre 2 ( for exits ) - Gamma 0.80, levels 0.10, 0.90 bars to read 9500, color red
But on the template I downloaded from pag.1, lag2 is set to gamma 0.85 with levels 0, 0.85, 0.45, 0.15.
and lag1 has levels 0, 0.85, 0.45, 0.15.
So, which settings are the latest ones? Thanks

Dislikedyou could pack your excel sheet into a ZIP-file, which can be attached here. I'd love to play with it and enter the spreads of my broker.... Also, your sheet seems to comfirm why I like AUD/JPY so much...

DislikedI was finding myself trying to look at to many currencies and missing moves. I wanted to concentrate on a few, but which ones?
I came up with this table as a tool to help me choose 6 curencies, (which are highligted in green).
It was an experiment to see which pairs had the highest liquidity and the greatest average daily pip movement. I then put my broker spreads into the equation as added information to help me rate each pair.
The final rating shows which pairs (historically) have the greatest daily movement, together with the greatest liquidity and give the best value as per the brokers I use. Most of the information is probably what I expeced but it's good to have it on my wall for reference.
Although the purpose was to find 'my six', it really helped me to highlight the ones I really should not be wasting my time on.Ignored

let me check the template, it should have been same as i mentioned above, if not will change and upload againIgnored
