been away for some time but i came looking from time to time

I dont know what exactly you maen, squidster but i can tell that i did try the laquerre system on the futures :russel 2000, dow jones, nasdaq and others. This system is not good for those aplications.
However, it works fine on the " forex futures" where you can make a lot of $$$$$

For those who are using ensignsoftware charting i have some news.
I have now the laguerre indicators ready for the chartingprogram of ENSIGN. I did not put alerts on it and it works fine. Just let me know.

I trade only gbp/usd, gbp/jpy and usd/jpy as all three are co-related. My timeframes are 1min, 5min ( Intraday - open and close same day ) and 15min ( for long term trade 1-2 days )

yes use 5min or 15min, risk to reward ratio is almsot 1:4 in 5min and 1:6 in 15min

Hey imran. We will need to forward test the system. As you can see GU/ & G/J has been very ranging this month. We will need to wait to test the system. But usually OSC systems fail when there is a land-slide.

I developed an indicator a while back which could prevent the landslide and let you know about the trend. I will upload it here.

Thanks for ur comments. Well, just to indicate the power of the setup and method i am using, if in ranging market i am able to make more then 1200+ pips a week just from gbp/jpy , imagine what we would be making in a landslide or a uptrend market. I do appreciate the indicator which you can post here so we can do test it out.

Also this system is being forwarded tested by many members here and i have been using this since last 4 months, albeit only with Laguerre indicator and stochs, i recently added pivots and the mt4 lever reverse indicator and it has sharpened the entry and exits.

Here is a 5min chart of USD/JPY, with the best entry points for this method, this can act as reference to newbies and for all of us when to take the trades ane be confident and not to have fear and greed and to have patience.

Another chart of Gbp/Jpy with the entry points for long and short position as per the rules of this method. Each of these trade are in excess of +150 pips so approx 300 pips in day on this pair is easy if trading for 5-6 hrs
Also look for the classical Double Top for a reversal , all these combined with Pivots make this system a unatable system

Hi Folks !

Regarding the use of the method on the 15min timeframe it works
for me like a charm by using ONLY one lag with 0.7 setting

Hi Bern
Just use 0.85 on 15min, ur profits will increase by 25%
Enter for long when it goes above 0.15 , exit when it goes to 1.00 and turns down to 0.90
Enter for short when it goes below 0.90 , exit when it goes to 0.00and turns up to 0.15

Imran...have been trying to read the thread from start to finish....would it be possible to upload the current indicators used, current settings and a Template...
Just I see that over time some settings and indicators have been added / changed, so it would be a great help to start with your most current setup...

or is it just im lazy??
