Point of no return was just hit and broken by this pair. Seems like new highs are just around the corner.

out of interest what method do you use to trade. I trade a trend system and was out for a few days so missed the re-entry in the low 4000 area it bounced right of my TL. still long from 4200.

You are to late. I dunno how you have drawed a trend, but but 1.4200 looks like a top to me. I am not sure. I am already out the market.

Bounced off 50% intraday fib, found bulls sitting there...

With this failure off the US news, there is no stop for euro...

Not the first time US positive news turn into dollar selloff....

Thoughts?

There's been divergence for about 7 days now, shouldn't a sell be inevitable?

A divergance is the other way around, when the stoch makes a higher high but the price fails to make a higher high or the opposite, in your chart the stoch makes a higher high as well as the price, this is not a divergance. For a good explanation of divergance go to babypips.com.

Maybe fxinsights one of the few goooood guy signal services out there...then EUREKA you found gold mix them with MM you might have something.
But keep in mind we are all just speculating the market...
I don't usually post but... the biggest emphasis at fxinsights is MONEY MANAGEMENT. Just fyi. They have the other stuff as mentioned prior but MM is the thing they definitely try to drive home. I have acquired more in that area from them than I had managed to get before. It has really helped me survive well.

Starting to see signs of trend change on the pair on the dailys - in terms of momentum and relevant ranges. COT is also at extremes and climbing. Commercials hedged heavy. Will look for good shorting opportunity around current level and wait for negative reverse divergences to put on the meat - May just be a more sustained retracement on much longer term trend, but definitely worth looking at.

Divergence in itself is not a reason to sell. When do divergences occur? When you trade the divergence alone, you are trading against a strong trend. Because of the mechanics of indicators, they do not have as much slack to follow price and that is why many strong trends contain divergences. Coupled with more information, divergences can be helpful, but never trade them naked - you will get burned.

More likely to make money using the pullback after divergence to get you in direction of trend.

Why not look for hidden divergences, that goes with the current trend? I have not seen many discussions on hidden divegences and felt that its underutilised. If we have looked closely, hidden divergences have a better return rate as compared to actualu divergence.

Anyway if thats the case, we'll surely see some sort of rally again...nevertheless i felt the carry pairs are now looking extremely attractive and the EurUsd has just completed a breakout.
