i'm newbie, totally newbie, but u give me something that actually handed me with a handfull of shotgun to shot the market.

i was starting trading with your method on Dec 1 and i was able until now to make my $5 marketiva become $250. what an achievement for newbie!!!

1. at the first time i didn't know that i really2 have to use 4hr chart, i use 30 min chart also and it works. your method really good.

2. now i'm not drawing the trendline manually, i use the indicator to draw it for me.

3. thanx for the stop loss material. my first 16 trading was no stop loss.

Does anybody make Mouteki indicators for Tradestation??? Or strategy?
I made tests and i got very interesting results. But i made it by hand. And i think it should be automated

I think you are onto somthing great here.

Please some one help me put a stop to this flood of crap. Any so called alert received three hours after the event is no longer an elert, at best its just history.

Can this system of drawing trendlines be applied to any currency pair?

I read the first page of this thread, but I don't understand how the system works based on the 2 pictures in the first post. Is it explained in detail somewhere, perhaps a later post, or are there just the pics? If the system is explained in detail in a later post, I would like the url or post number, please. I can only spend a few minutes per day here so I do not have time to read through the entire thread. It looks like some info has been removed because the 3rd post quotes the author, but where is the post that the quote comes from? The quote didn't come from the first post. Thanks.

I'm very new at forex and am looking for a correct strategy. I've been studying mouteki. In a few posts there is talk about false signals. Can anyone please explain how to identify a false signal.

A false signal is one that results in a losing trade (stop is hit). This is part and parcel of any system and it's our job to try and minimise these while also accepting that they are inevitable.

Base mouteki on it's own is profitable, however people (myself included) work on finding filters that reduce the number of losing trades (by providing a yes/no confirmation to the Mouteki entry) - it's in analysing these filters that I found a new system myself that I am more comfortable and confident with. So the work is there to be done - my testing and analysing took over 1000 trades and many many evenings of work, but glad to say it was beneficial in the end!

I'm just starting to read this thread. Gosh I feel the author's pain in beginning the forex journey. I was in the same boat, cept my father never traded. I was on my own. Interesting concepts in the thread. Interesting system.

Turns out everyone's suspicions were correct.

Hmm, I'll wait until I've written it up properly - I don't want to end up having to answer questions as I go, and I haven't fully documented it all yet as I'm still answering questions myself. One thing I've learnt from following the Mouteki threads from the beginning is that if you're going to say 'this is my system' is that you have to have everything nailed down in advance! Anyway, there's nothing special to what I'm working on, no special indicators or plans to sell it further down the line or any of that rubbish so I'm in no rush (and believe me the day job is busy enough right now).
