gonna watch for now...

USDJPY looks overbought, as RSI at the top. Quiet thurs, so going short
USDJPY interday play, despite EURJPY marching higher.

Out of short (115.65) at 115.40 as stock market turned higher towards close.
Wait until Tokyo now to see if short term trend (up) intact, or if it turns into
a bear flag.

Overall 20 min trend on the UJ is still short. I think that trending up was just a short retrace. Although I dont have my pivots up currently I believe we still has a little ways to go before change in trend off of the weekly support or maybe the fibo.

I would trade cautiously if you're on the short side. Price broke the triangle that was building for 7 weeks. 38.2 fib is also broken (finally). All technicals are improving.

If Price > 116.815 and Chaikin > 0 and Volatility > 0.2

New Investor does anyone know of an active USD/jpy board for trading. Still learning and would like to see how other traders are trading this currency since I am on the East coast of US.

UJ just gives multiple sell signals. Expect a downside movement to pivot of 116.83..See attached chart.

My simple 5m chart gave a sell signal and a perfect exit at R1. Notice how the CCI's never crossed up above the 0 line

I missed the breakout from the triangle on the daily and now I want a price to go in long.

I'm sidelined for AGES in UJ, waiting for retake of 117 level to build long positions and now, this SOB looks too high in the near term to go in....

Anyone planning UJ longs, larger timeframes/ targets?

I'd like to buy around 116.70-90 but I have no idea whether or not there is a potential for such pullback before a next push up...

Well, assuming that UJ is going to resume its trend after the break out of the triangle...
