My Skype name is chanan13. Contact me through skype and I will add you to the 4H chat

I am on leave this week and doing some live trades. When I am working I cannot trade during London session and 2 hours of Us so live trades for me are very few.

$yen 4hr candle a little too long on the Rb. Will try to enter on retrace to make profit target 8/21 area a little more 'worth it'....

Hi Guys,

I almost read all of yours threads and I'm very interesting about this trading rules. It is incredible how it works.
I tried few systems before and 4H MACD system is clear, simple and easy.
I earned some pips in real, I could earn more but I wasn't greedy enough
And I was suprised how easy to find a signal to Sell or Buy

many thanks

$yen...don't like it any more. The daily is looking like the fall should continue back down to the 114.00 area. I'd rather be looking to go that way right now. Mixed signals here...starting the hand sitting again...

Wellllll, looks like the $yen Rb would have worked out on the buy limit. Just wasn't comfortable with it because the daily is working down from it's own 21 hit. Somebody please tell me that no decision is better than indecision....

Just hangin' out right now...

First of all, thanks for the wrap-up Phillip.

OK: We have a 'situation' in the $Yen. Price is below the 89 and has pulled back to the 21. Hmm, another set-up like the EUR$ today? Perhaps, but, there's always a but. Look at the trend in the EUR$ and how the rhythm has been working with price rarely making it below the 8ema. That test of the 21 and textbook re-entry on the 1hr (although I was a little early but didn't get taken out) banked me about 120 pips on that move. Now the $yen. Again, price is below the 89 and testing the 21 but the rhythm isn't flowing like it is on the EUR$. Although, the daily $yen is on the sell side, the 114.70 area is providing support. The 4hr looks a little too congested right now with the three faster ma's converging. I'm thinking that this pair is deciding which way to go for the moment. There's nothing saying that price won't retreat from this test of the 21, I just like to see a little more fluidity to the trend when re-entering on the 21 pullback. Just trying to relate the way I see things right now...peace.

hello guys this is my EU chart , in my chart price make doji and at top trendline,

tempting to get in it might target 21 ema, but as i see recent trend it only once touch 21, so i anticipate it only touch 8ema, i didnt take that trade bcause of bad RR,

is there any great chance that price will touch the 21 ema?

Hi Ernest,

If your r:r was bad to the 8 you did exactly the right thing! E/U is trending right now and it is very risky to countertrend trade. We haven't seen real signs of weaking yet, and the speed has primarily been the 8. Price still is above that level and hasn't closed beneath what I consider new support. The 4 hour MACD is showing divergence, and some have been trading short based solely on that. Always remember, in a trend, divergence can last a VERY LONG TIME...wait to see price failures of support in conjunction w/divergence & Macd turn or other confirmation tools you may use. Good job on not jumping into a trade that r:r didn't justify! That is a great sign that you are learning to trade on a higher level.
Keep up the good job.

Pips

thank u pip for ur kind word, to tell u the truth this is the 3rd time im not jumping to trade after i see some macd divergence and CT pattern, just bcause of RR was bad

im still learning controlling my emotion, before i found this thread i was down to only 20 % my initial capital, and this thread after read a whole thread was helping me in controlling my emotion, and helping me avoid bad trade

to be honest i'm still beating my self up if i dont take the trade just bcause of RR was bad or the candle not make a very clear sign but it turn up to be profit trade

guess the hardest part of trading was controlling your emotion

Taunted:

I always let the trend re-develop and break out from the convergence, start moving again, and then wait for a signal. It can take several days but I like to let things flow a little. If it's channeling you can always buy the dips and sell the rallies but even then I still wait for the MACD and s/r breaks to tell me what to do. I'm not too familiar with th cable so I can't comment directly on that pair. The durable goods orders news on the $ may get things moving though...
