Many thanks indeed, my friend, for your post. Ever since I started using this system, I've always suspected there was something wrong with the SMAAngle indicator, but I couldn't figure out what it was. It always seemed to do what was required, so I just let it ride until I spotted the problem that prompted my post. Anyway, I've loaded the indicator you posted, and it's now absolutely spot-on!

I missed the first pullback after the NFP strong move up. As you can see I placed my green arrow/entry arrow on the bar that closed above the M4 resistance line to be on the safe side.

I have not used ADX yet and am new to it. Does it help much with the trade and how heavy do you rely on it?

I got it... ... but got too greedy, and held out for more pips... before I knew it I was back to break even !

Ah well, dems the breaks! I really need to stick to just catching ten or so pips each time rather then hold out more more... I know in the long run I will come out ahead but still, its the dragon I need to slay with this system!

I managed to pull 6 Pips from the AUS/USD @ lunch time in New York! It took me 2 trades to do it.
At this time I'm only using Phil's original rules, trendlines, pivots and price action..

Open GBPUSD at 2.0346 close 2.0352 = +6 pips.. too scared to get more pips, so just take the small pips.

Hi guys,

I'm back again. Will post some trades soon. I'm really glad about this thread and that it's still alive. Thanks Phil and Willem and all the others!

To trade different pairs I don't use the fixed 10 Pips TP and 6(+Spread) Pips SL anymore. For the TP I use 0.075% of the price and for the SL I use 0.050% of the price which is almost 6/10 on the EUR/USD and 12/15 on the Cable... This way I take the price of the pair into the account...

1-i see alot of chances to trade
2-i see a good trend which u can put ur sl below that or even trade on the trend
3-i see some good support and res. levels on that
4-and i see more that 100pips which i didnt trade lucky u , u caught 6pips.

Hey All

Just wanted to post this one quickly. Happened at about 10:10 to 10:50 GMT. I managed to pick up 15 points, but I suspect that there maybe more left on the table since it just broke through support @ 1.1840.

Sold @ 1.18458, closed out @ 1.18308.

Hind sight I shouldn't have taken this one. Price was way too choppy, spread was way too wide (5 PIPS).... If i would've widened my SL I could have won, but I think I'd prefer to just avoid this pair all together. There is almost a direct correlation with the EUR/AUD and the AUD/USD, I think I'll stick with the latter, much tighter spreads..
