A minute chart may show a reversal candlestick pattern, but is it a genuine signal or just noise? A second-based chart helps you check.
Open a second-based chart (for example, S5) and watch how that pattern formed. If the reversal candle on the minute chart consists of several second-based candles that moved steadily and confidently in the new direction — the signal is confirmed. If it was a single spike lasting one or two seconds and then the price returned — it is likely a false signal, and entering is not worth it.
