no, a moving average does not predict the future...

two kinds of people love moving averages... 1) newbies that dont know that they dont work.. 2) scammers that want to sell a worthless bot to a newbie.

and, the opposite of probabilities is arbitrage.

arbitrage, my definition, is that you "know" the correct future price of an instrument, and so you buy now and sell at the arbitrage.

arbitrage is like a fantasy dream for traders.

Forex arbitrage focuses on exploiting price differences between currency pairs. This market runs 24/7, making efficiency crucial.


Three Main Types of Forex Arbitrage

1. Triangular Arbitrage: This is the most common method. You trade three distinct currencies in a closed loop (e.g., EUR/USD → GBP/USD → EUR/GBP). The goal is to exploit temporary pricing inefficiencies between the crosses to end up with more of the initial currency.
2. Spatial Arbitrage: You buy a currency pair from one broker at a lower price and instantly sell it to another broker at a higher price.
3. Statistical Arbitrage: This involves complex mathematical models. You track two historically correlated currency pairs. When their price spread widens abnormally, you buy the undervalued one and short the overvalued one, betting they will return to their historical average.

Crucial Challenges in Today's Market

1. High-Frequency Trading (HFT): Institutional algorithms close price gaps in milliseconds. Manual retail arbitrage is virtually impossible.
2. Latency: Your physical distance to the broker's server matters. Traders use Virtual Private Servers (VPS) located in financial hubs like London or New York to minimize execution delays.
3. Broker Limitations: Many retail brokers strictly ban or cancel profits made from latency arbitrage. You must use Electronic Communication Network (ECN) brokers that allow toxic flow and toxic arbitrage.
4. Spread and Fees: The price difference must be larger than the combined trading costs (spreads, commissions, and swap fees) to be profitable And rhis is exactky what I knew about it... how the hell you play arbitrage on H4???

there are as many ways to do arbitrage as there are different ways to bake a cake.

ai knows a lot and it can be very helpful, but i dont expect it is going to give out the secret sauce of arbitrage.

i can trade my bot using a standard telephone company telephone line with a dialup connection..

its a bit clunky, but it runs just fine.

forex really doesnt move that fast, and really... nothing happens in milliseconds with the forex.. that is a myth.. trades typically take hours to days to complete.. for me, typical trades are with thirty pips plus expected profit.
