Hey PT,
Did you do ok on the short from 116.37 area yesterday?

I'm scalping longs from 115.10 area to 115.25ish.....
If it Tests the low again, maybe a nice divergence.....

Hey FxJarhead,

There is nice story about that (actually right now is funny, back then it wasn;'t)

I took my short at 116.36 and like you was waiting for 116.15/17 area. However when I saw what was happening while it was approaching this level,I decided to gamble a little bit and move my stop just few pips from Daily Pivot (at 116.08).

The price action was really fast - it was touch and go a-lot-like-NFP And then I noticed that despite price hitted 116.08 my transaction was still active.Later I "recieved" negative swaps (swaps on my broker are added/taken at 18ET ... it is because here in Poland we have 0:00am and new day begins at 18ET) of course (like in all such stories) my stop-loss was hitted.I was mad as hell so I decided to write e-mail to my broker with complaint.

Thankfully,I woke up today and I read that it was their mistake and that my account has been updated with profit. So nice 28 pips profit.

I think that your T/P has been just hitted, right ? Most indicators are oversold so I believe we gonna have some retracement.

YEP I got hit for 10 pips.....That market move just before 6pm was a nice spike down.....knew it was coming, not the spike, just the move down.....I use Oanda, so my interest debit starts the second I open the trade, though same for a long trade.....
Glad your broker made right by you!!!!!!!!

As I wrote I see some retracement soon,it could be the area you mentioned because it will be test of broken trendline. You've got to remember what FxJarhead noted - we have down trend so I would be cautious with longs right now

I think tools which others use too. What Dove had on his chart was Slow_K on 2h and 20min chart and I have it also. What else - RSI (8).

I'm mostly trying to use them for divergence purpose.Oversold/overbought areas are often tricky so you have to watch for other confirmations (like Dove once said - he noticed that 2h chart is overbought(or oversold, nevermind) and in the same time he saw it also on 20min chart) or divergence on 15min chart mixed with price hitting bottom Bollinger Band at 30min - these are just examples - I'm not saying that they work always.

So I am assuming that this close below the ascending triangle, is a signal to short the pair. Possibly with a SL at 115.70 (Daily Support Level 1 area, which currently is resitance) and a PT at 114.20 (Weekly Support Level 1 area).

4 hour Stochastics and RSI will also support the drop of this pair to new lows, since both are trending downwards. However I am not to sure whether to place this trade below. What do you guys think?

For me it makes sense - maybe I would place SL a little bit higher (above 115.75 which is Weekly Central) - but you are the one who makes decision
