The EURUSD price action on the H4 time frame is sideways at the 1.15750 intra-day horizontal resistance. The area is below the 78.6-fib retracement of the bearish swing traceable to May 2021. We cannot rule out further southward price engineering to an intra-day area of value below recent wicky tails.

Sharing a clean one from this morning's NY AM session. EURUSD, ~10:02 ET. Posting the whole read because the interesting part wasn't the entry, it was how unremarkable the regime looked on paper vs how it actually played out.
Macro backdrop was quietly EUR-supportive: DXY at 99.67 sitting below its 5d EMA (99.79), US 10Y at 4.455 below its 5d EMA and falling, VIX down to 15.94. Three for three on the dollar-negative side, so the bias was long EUR — but nothing screaming.
Where it got honest: I run this off a couple of agents, and they only half-agreed. My macro agent leaned bull at 60%. My trend agent agreed directionally (61% bull) but flagged the regime as TRANSITIONING with weak momentum — the 60m MACD histogram had been shrinking five bars straight — and explicitly called for reduced size. So the two agreed on direction but the trend agent vetoed conviction. That combination is exactly what tells me it's a mean-reversion dip-buy into structure, not a trend-follow load-up.
The reason I took it at all was the level. At 1.1591 basically everything converged: session VWAP (~1.15915), structural support, the daily pivot (1.159), and my invalidation (1.15910) all stacked on the same price. When five things point at one number, that number matters.
Discipline rule I held: no blind bid. Price had to tag the 1.1590–1.1592 zone and then print a 5m close back above 1.15920 (or a clean reversal candle with RSI divergence). If it sliced through 1.1591 with no reaction → no trade. The invalidation was the line in the sand, not a hopeful "give it room" stop.
Trade:

1. Long EURUSD
2. Entry zone 1.15900–1.15920
3. Stop 1.15835 (below the 60m structural floor + yesterday's low, ~8 pips, ~1x ATR on a compressed day)
4. TP1 1.1600 (1R) / TP2 1.1605 (1.7R) / TP3 1.16125 (2.4R, intraday high)
5. Size cut ~25% given the transitioning regime

Result: it held the cluster, reclaimed 1.16, and ran the full rotation to the 1.16125 intraday high — TP3 hit. ~19 pips, 2.4R.
Read after the fact: the bounce was stronger than a "transitioning" tape deserved, which is exactly why I took partials at 1.1600 and trailed rather than front-running a target that wasn't guaranteed. In a weak regime the structure carried this, not momentum — if 1.1591 hadn't held, it's a scratch and I'm fine with that.
