Winning strategies with templates

I am convinced that this robot (not mine) has serious potential using the correct filters. Unfortunately I could not find any manual or suggestions for it.

Now you can optimize to your own liking - everything below LOT is new.

 

1. ADX factor: How many ADX timeframes out of M1 to D1 should be true
2. Long trend: Trend direction & strength over the last 1000 bars
3. Short trend: Much shorter trend direction & strength

Suggestion:
First run with default parameters to see what you start with. Then optimize to your liking. My need was to limit the amount of hedged orders & clamp down on the DD, yours might be different.

I've tested a great many filters for it, the added ones were the most profitable.

I might add some more parameters upon request. For sure will I add a News filter & Trading times to it.

Update:
Added some more important filters. Please note that all inputs below the "use_bb" input pertain to the BB filter only for now including "stoch" & "rsi". If "use_bb" is false, all inputs below "use_bb" have no effect whatsoever.

Now you can enable/disable EVERYTHING including the original buy/sell code for Grabli. You can use ONLY your individual filters should you want. Thus, you can now design your very own strategy using all available filters.

Included a profile to put it on all 28 pairs with my chosen parameters only as a starting point for your experiments.

This is a manual trading strategy with an EA that does no more than warn you that the conditions are ready for a potential trade. It REALLY works. If you struggle to become profitable, then this could be it for you. Worth investigating.

Results from 04h45 to 14h30 today trading manually only with Lot = 1.0 using bits & pieces of what I've uploaded over here. I could have made much more, but I've decided to call it a day. All the nights & days spent to create & test this template has worn me out. Now I'm going to spend the rest of today & tonight catching up on lost sleep. Please remember, today is Friday. Many professionals refuse to trade on Fridays, so this says a lot for what's being presented over here.

Maybe I'll automate all of this. I am a slow starter, but a sure starter. And I did EXACTLY what I said I would do. Same will happen with ALL other things stated over here.

I have done my part - now let's see when what comes next. I am so tired of all this waiting - if nothing happens soon I'll give up on this dream/assignment. I honestly have no other way to generate the funds required. Now I'll smell the roses until such time as I receive whatever is required to continue.

Note: I have many screenshots to the build up to this amount for the day verifying that there are no DDs or margin calls associated with it. (I can upload upon request) Only one trade per pair at any given time ALWAYS with proper Stop Losses & Take Profits firmly in place. No gambling or any trickery involved, just straight forward manual trading from a non professional trader.

Last link I posted is REALLY a good strategy! The 90% quoted seems to be true. Remember, trading in all 28 pairs, no selective trading. They state M15 only, but these results are for M5. It should be even better on the higher TF.
