Why down?
There are inverted head-and shoulders formations all over the place (USD/JPY, AUD/USD, AUD/JPY) on 1-Hour charts.
This has to shoot up - if not now, right after Bernanke speech tomorrow.

Looks like we have a big convergence of PP's with the weekly at 115.73. daily at 115.76 and central at 115.84.

Could be tough nut to crack going south.

Hi all

I use pivot for entery and exit, but I don't really understand what constitute a strong support or resistance, today all I could do was watch my chart go sideways, anyone to help a newbie on Dove's method?

Dove's method is basically this:

- Use pivots for your entry and TP
- Determine direction of the trade by using indicators

Go back to page 60 or so of this thread and start reading his posts from there. Take notes. I have been and have slowly been piecing together his strategy. It'll take a couple of days, maybe 1 full day if you just do that nonstop, but it's what you need to do if you haven't already.

Mr. Dove the reason why I was 3 pips off is becouse I was using the ask chart inset of th bid, thanks a lot for every thing and god bless you, hope you doing fine with out the chat, we miss you, at least, I do.

Tokyo about to kick in, t-minus 20 minutes. Any thoughts for the new day?

Currently hitting the MP of the weekly pivot and central point. A lot seems to be pointing to down on multiple timeframes.

5-minute chart shows a nice triangle up

I am long since 115.97, TP at R1-10

Better yet, long on AUD/JPY :-)

I'm looking to go long on a close above the daily M3. I like the confluence of the top of the triangle, M3, and the 79% retracement of the last swoon down all at the same price. But a break below the triangle looks good for a short since the sto's are at the top, so I guess I'll let price take me in. Just my 2 cents which might only be worth a penny.

Any thoughts on which would be the stronger breakout?

I agree, Pipvalhalla, but if it breaks south (as it's trying now) I'll wait to add long at the daily pivot point

Mouteki 4hr chart or Tom De Mark trend line.
1. Target 118.48 if broke the top yellow trendline (long).
Or
2. Target 110.05 if broke the bottom blue trendline (short).
