This is how I understand it, please correct me if I am wrong;

1. you make a profit in one period (since payouts are weekly I am guessing the period or cycle is weekly), your profit divided by the total profit is your initial score.
2. Your initial score is multiplied by all the factors that make up your 'behavior' (account size throttle, payout number throttle, consistency multiplier, scalping multiplier, news trading multiplier, minimum days multiplier, whale throttle, cycle drawdown multiplier, max drawdown multiplier) and this gives your share score.
3. your share score is compared to all the share scores for the money in the pool and this determines the share of the profit you get. This is your pool share.
4. The total pool that is given out in payouts is 85% of 40% of the entire pool for that cycle, 34%. this is broken down as 40% trader pool payout, 45% operating costs, 15% company profit. And then the trader pool payout is broken down as 85% weekly payouts and 15% reserves.

That's what I understand so far, but I definitely might be missing something.

If this free account is intraday, you r kind of f*d - overnight and weekend becomes basically useless, pull back DD-s will ruin your %.
Markets will move to the right.

Its a worst deal on the market.
80-90% payout vs. 34% payout if you are consistent trader.

Question was about math, formula about traders score.

Operating costs = variable and fixed costs. Prop companies are highly automated and variable cost part should be quite low
and is not dependent how much traders make. Or they will go to spending frenzy if trades make lot of money ?
And quarantined profit 15% odd, we take no less and no more. Profit should be result of how good they run business and
how competitive market place is.

Its interesting model but for me its feels quite odd one.

Also.. every model has a buffer profit zone (4% to 8%) to be eligible for a payout, apart from the min 3% profit in every cycle.

payout is a share of 34% and challenges have to be bought and you can get kicked out, so it's like a prop firm that pays a lot less than 80%. The challenges seem to cost the same as for other firms.

I haven't looked at the model, but based on what people are sharing here, it looks like a dud.

No risk to the firm and they are taking 60% of all revenue? Meanwhile, traders are having to fight for the leftover crumbs; the more traders there are, the less profit you will get?

Seems like a dream for the company, assuming that I am understanding things correctly. I wonder, if payouts are variable (based on pool size), are challenge fees variable (doubt it)? Probably, the cost-to-value ratio would look like a downward curve, like falling off of a cliff.

On the surface, the math doesn't seem to math. If 10 people pay 1k each (for challenge fees), that equals 10k. Company takes 6k, so 4k for pool. If you have to share that 4k with 9 other traders, how likely is it that you will pull out more than you put in?

This does not consider how buy-in amount affects payout cap, either. So maybe instead of 10 traders, there are 100 traders, and only 3 of them paid 1k for challenges, and the other 97 only paid $72. Do you have to compete with those lower-tier traders for an equal share of the pool? I have to assume that they have some way to segregate.

Even if the payout ratios (based on what? Profit? Draw-down?) are sharp enough to allow for the top trader to pull out more than he put in, then such a model will only be beneficial to the best of the best (beneficial as it compares with other firms). I cannot see such a model surviving over the long-term since most traders will just drop out once they realize that they are not as good as they thought they were, comparatively-speaking.

Maybe I am wrong about a lot of this; I can only speculate based on limited information at this point, but a 60/40 split for pool seems really, really gross.

The claim to be different is this......
No conflict of interest, they do not need failing traders to survive. Money is paid from a pool. It seems almost like a poker tournament to me. All money goes in the pool, the house takes their cut and the winners are paid on a tiered basis depending on where they place.
There are no news restrictions, consistency rules, winning days,etc....trade how you wish. However, there are scores tied to these, so does determine how much you make.
Yes, 40% is entirely too low. Especially since the firm is guaranteed to profit regardless of how much a trader makes. The downside is to the trader as despite how much you profit, you are capped by what is in the pool.
I, personally, would take 60-70% as a trader for no conflict of interest and no rules

-I agree with your points. They are all valid. And the 40% is my biggest problem with the model. I also wonder how they intend on segregating traders (and allocating pool) based on buy-in amount.

Certainly, the idea is interesting, and is even something that I have advocated for in the past (a pool-based model, that guarantees firm longevity). However, I think that more information is needed for me to establish a strong opinion about it, most notably with regards to 60% take and segregation methodology.

Oh, thanks....missed that. I also cannot wrap my head around the no DD model....You actually have the entire account? Why does it cost less than the static account with 10% DD?

It’s marketed as a “no DD” model, but in reality it operates under implicit, dynamic drawdown rules. Instead of a clear breach level, it uses a complex system that rewards or penalizes based on a range of KPIs.

Why the consistency rule ? Trader score already penalize traders with big winning days.
Well this is just a prop with different rules. Will I sign up ? No.

Yes, and once i mentioned this type of model in prop topic long time ago. Pool of $ like in poker and winning structure. I still think is good idea.

Trader makes $1000 with 3% DD and is eligible $750 payout if other "Trader score" stuff is good.

Some people have difficulties to understand intraday DD, person who understand these rules deserve a medal

Cool Idea, Ill be trying out the free account.

If sustainable I anticipate alot of copycats... firms adding this to their suite of account offerings
I think traders will embrace the idea of a Prop being profitable without them failing despite lower payouts. You may have to have more accounts

In the end other props may have to (or want to) to adopt this system to add more operating revenue or simply survive
