No I was showing you that someone that trades the m5 to execute trades would have taken 2R from the m5 nova signal and with the same target hold to get 2R (PDH).

This would be totally normal so once you go down to the M1 you'll naturally end up with much higher RR in return.

This is the reason why I prefer M1 because I just wouldn't accept 1R ending the day if I had lost a trade also lol

Prefer you m1 or even 15s?

Are you using the same strategy? Also putting a vertical line on m15 and then wait the best entry on m1? even if at m1 Ema is not in confluence with M15 Emas?

So the screenshot in the quoted post I attached is showing how Nova can now spot volume exhaustion.

When price hits a key level and an arrow appears then it's basically signalling a liquidity sweep.

The logic behind it is to identify a specific multiplier above recent volume pricing.

I.e 1.4 means 40% extra volume vs recent pricing.

This will be in the update but I didn't want to update and have something that didn't work so it's now at a perfect stage after lots of testing so look out for it when it's updated

I saw some folks talking about how to comfortably place an entry. I use position sizer ea by earnforex in MT5. It's free and has an open source license and works wonders.

Some trades I took just now

Managed to take 3R out of it

First trade was Nova, 2nd trade was imbalance 50% and then 3rd was Nova again which failed.

Can see that once the high was printed, price hasnt managed to break it so I followed my system until I took a loss.

Now just need to wait for that high to break... or a stucture shift bearish.

We will see.

I've not been enjoying Golds price action this week though... it's been a mess.

Yeah for sure... but here is also something the algo LOVES to do on gold.

When price breaks out away from the EMA's it'll sweep the first pullback at some point like this lol

The story of today:

These are literally the only lines you need to mark daily.

  1. Previous Day High
  2. Previous Day Low
  3. Previous Session High
  4. Previous Session Low

Wait for 1 to be swept (today was Asia Low/Previous Session Low)

IF price then breaks recent high enter using nova after major pullback in this case price rejected at 50% of the move.

Use Nova to trade towards the Asia High/Previous Session High taking every signal.

TP Hit xD

If you held them all then you'd have banked an impressive 16.46R

This is a very excellent indicator. May I ask, in the NoVa indicator, what is the underlying nature of the white or black zones (the no-trade zones)? What conditions are used to generate these zones? I simply want to understand their essence so that I can better understand and master this indicator.

A bar close above or below 200EMA with corresponding volume confirmation. Throw a 200EMA for a clear visual interpretation

I don't usually trade on a sunday but just caught this beauty

Had a small sweep with what I saw as a possible structure break.... Waited for EMA flip and the 240LWMA to be touched and entered
