Do Not overwhelm yourself with all the complex price action and naked trading stuff.
In this thread, if you spend two years like the OP mentioned in his post #2617, you will learn the most common frequently occurring price patterns which are more than 60percent win rate. It is the Risk:Reward between 1:2 and 1:3 that will help you make money.

These PA setups are very common and will meet the criteria in posts #261 and #647.

1) PCRF 3bars/candles reversal
2) Swing High /Swing Low seen with five(5) bars / candles
3) Engulfing bars/candles BUEB/BEEB
4) Engulfing Outside bars/candles BUEOB/ BEEOB
5) Double Bars Low with Higher Close and Double Bars High with Lower Close DBLHC & DBHLC

I only know TDI + stochastic + Heiken Ashi setup. Thank you EM. I'll check these posts.

Another winning trade today (USA 100) my only major trade for the day.

I only took the golden cross. Maybe I should start taking the dead cross too. But I do use the 200 SMA as my major bias
The dead cross has being so effective especially during the New York session.

BigE's TMS method is a very good approach and is stable and profitable when done properly.

If you find certain setups you are more preferred to trade and aligns with TMS rules and the tools involved, by all means just keep using it and profit. It is your trade method you feel comfortable and works for you, which is most important.

So far I only trade one of my favorites (also BigE mentioned it) TMS setup following TDI signals, and currently I stick with m15 chart which suits my lifestyle best. That setup I have repeatedly shared in my posts in the past. One change is I don't move SL/TP anymore, just set them when opening trades and let them run and close.

It's that simple. Green pips to all.

I love taking BTCUSD trade first. Especially doing the Sydney session.
I watch out for how price react to the opening price. The opening price act as my support/resistant.

Then, I use golden cross/dead cross for precision entry.
For day trading, I also watch out for the yesterday high and low. And see how price react to those levels.

Won the first two trades of the day. Going again in London session.

If you are a beginner, please read every @emmanuel7788 posts on price action and how to trade using the moving average and TDI. You won't regret it. You don't need to learn complicated strategy to be profitable. You can always keep it simple.

April 01 London 5am now *LIVE*

- as we approach Trading Made Simple first 4Hr at London 6am Pacific 10pm,

- we can refresh the TMS Monitor and get an update of the current 4hr candle,

- we know the previous 4hr candle

I am pretty sure that this strategy works because I code some strategies based on BigE's method and it works well. It could only work better if like you said "trade aligns with TMS". Thank you. 謝謝

Spend your time reading and studying Big E's posts in his old thread before he made to jump to this new thread. In that thread Big E' approach had been laid out clearly and rather simply BUT many did not bother to stay and take notes of their own.

What was that 'approach' he used back in 2006-2008 when he did his system development?

I see that if BigE found a trade on 1D, he would check 4H for an entry. I get the momentum alignment concept because price swings up and down. HTF + LTF alignment gives the best momentum and the lowest drawndown. It could go on and on like 1D -> 4H -> 1H -> 30m -> 15m -> 5m, so it works on every timeframe. However, I haven't read them all yet. I am on page 202. Actually, I just finished Rob's posts in 2024. After finishing Rob's posts, I'll print out BigE's posts on TMS and Craig threads for studying. Some markets just don't give good price structures for Rob's method (crappy liquidity) and I think BigE's method could provide a good solution.

I coded some tools to help me set up the TMS chart and signify me to make trade decisions. You can consider taking account into BigE's price action elements in post #647, and the TDI. TDI cross is quite good for alert set up as it is definitive. For your PA knowledge, I suggest you check out InTheBox's threads.

Once you have a trade strategy, just stick with it. 就像鬼滅善逸, 一招就夠玩了. 1 good trade with 1 method will make your day good luck!

I do not see your chart with TMS_V19 EA on it. Without seeing your chart I do not know what you are missing. Postin a template will not solve your problem when you do have the required indicators to run the TMS V19 EA.

Your chart with TMS V10 EA running should look like this for Daily settings

Important note: Those indicators ONLY need to be in the correct indicator folder to enable the EA to run correctly. The indicators do not need to be on the chart.
