You wouldn't have fully known IF it was going to cross but the candles were both bull candles and it was the first pullback to the EMA's.

The thing with gold is that the first pullback would usually be the best trade so I take them regardless but it does have the tendency to sweep the first pullback as well at times.

In my personal trading, the first pullback entry is the one that I let run to my full target.

Also... price broke above the VWAP (white dotted line) and then pulled back to it so that for me would have been valid.

This seems to me to be a very subjective system, what exactly do you rely on when looking for such long-term trends? me, for example, today

No EMA flip on that trade. Calculate every 2. trade to be a loss. With 1:2 RR you will come out profitable.

Also read the last min. 50 pages.

Hi. I went back and looked at that entry. I did enter on candle close, just not the right candle according to Nova. Jumped the gun.
I auto-defaulted to price action. Break of support, pullback to the level, support becomes resistance, big red candle.
That volume spike into resistance had some influence.
Still getting used to the tool and the one minute gold chart. (patience)
I do appreciate you pointing that out.
Someone else's point of view helps in so many ways.

No its still free, does anything show on your chart when you click on it? If its there but not working delete it and add it again

It stays blank. No histogram or anything appears. I closed and reopened it several times. When I can, I’ll try from the PC, but it doesn’t work from the mobile app or the tablet either.

Your signal was back when the EMA's started to seperate. There were a few opportunities to enter with the trend and with greater volume that when you entered.
Entering on a retrace for a continuation is fine but you need a proper rejection off the EMA or other confluence.

You see that higher low before you took that nova signal... you'd want to be looking for structure to show you what price is likely to do next.

Price then rallied higher and if you use a fib you can see it pulled back pretty deep and then a lower high was printed

That lower high would be your confluence to take the next nova signal.

You're also trading at a bad time.

the fact that is is partially displaying, with centre line visible, suggest maybe somthing changed with your chart display setting?

Not sure what you're trading but try switching to something else... maybe the broker for that chart has changed something with their volume.

Or reset settings to default?

See here... its blank for me. Some brokers mess around with things and it can cause that to happen.

It will happen with most indicators - basically they have removed or have some glitch with their data feed.
