Yup because we are waiting for structure to form.

At the moment a lot of sellers who sold at the PDL are currently in the mud so they will be waiting to have small loss or break even lol.

All buyers from earlier will be out as well for now.

So we just need to see some structure to indicate where we are going.

I think price will dig a bit deeper first though towards the 61.8 fib... thats my feeling

Im telling you now... If where I put that 'imbalance reaction' text actually happens to be reversal point then I'm going to lose it. Its covering the text haha

I didn't move the text at all

Plus there was a little imbalance there

No but funnily enough there was a teeny tiny portion of the larger imbalance left behind on the left LOL

Then look to the right and you see price closed it today. Hilarious man

Sorry but ive had to zoom out alot to fit it on m1 will show it on the H4.

We're getting microscopic imbalances now

It's sort of doing what I wanted it to

Sellers could break even & hopefully buyers can step in...

Oh and just to mention, YES you could have been taking Nova sell signals but I didn't because its against my bias.

My first trade with this strategy. I'd previously backtested and tried it on a demo account. Now I'm using it on a live account. I'm happy with it

Good one! First a clear sweep, then a nice signal from Nova. That’s how it should be.

For the best possible volume data, try using IC Markets as your broker on TradingView.

Been following this thread for a bit. The London session results on Gold are impressive — I trade XAUUSD on MT5 and London is consistently my best session too. Asian session is where I give most of it back.
The point about being selective with entries resonates. I used to take every signal and my win rate was mediocre. Once I started filtering by session and only trading when confluence lined up, it made a big difference. Curious how others here decide which Nova signals to skip vs take — is it purely discretionary or do you have specific rules?

Got a few confluences around the 1 min Imbalance zone, Previous Week Low and Daily Open and Fibs.

You always need context behind any money you put on the line.

Yesterday I had a bullish bias so I was waiting for a bullish setup and didn't take anything bearish even though the whole day ended up being bearish.

You need that grit to win in this field you cant flip flop around otherwise you'll never have any discipline.

So where others probably crushed it with nova if they were bearish yesterday, I didn't.

You want to focus on the signal line on nova. If price is bearish you ideally want to see the signal line go above the zero level with some bullish bars and then take the nova signal right when the signal line is crossing back down below zero level.

I also prefer to see highs or lows broken before I take signals. They rarely work when price is in a range so always keep a look out for structure breaks.

Once you nail one of those entries you'll be hooked

They work so good after a sweep because it's usually extremely unlikely that price will sweep the sweep so you can just get insane RR.

Well said my guy!

And yes hes right about IC. What you see on nova is broker specific in terms of how the histogram works so you want to find brokers with the most liquidity generally for a better representation of what the volume is like.

If you go for the comex data package on TV then you can get full real time volume directly from the CME.
