What I have been showing is the sort of things I look for personally... yes how my brain is looking for things before I am confident in my nova entries when price eventually decides to trend towards my target.

Almost everything I have posted would come from this type of thought process but I didn't post that side of things as it is a little off topic.

I want to keep things simple and tidy.

The EMA flip pullback is still my favourite nova entry but before the EMA's flip there has usually been a reversal somewhere.

I just wanted to show you that setup on the M1.

That imbalance was respected as it was the one that broke the high.

Wouldn't have got a 50% entry on that though BUT gold loves to sweep those sort of pullbacks sometimes if price doesn't go into the EMA's.

We're also in low liquidity hours also... so not much going on but structure is forming.

That M5 imbalance entry I have marked will probably be respected or the low below it swept during Asia open IF the M1 imbalance doesn't hold price higher.

We'll see.

Had I have checked the M5 and marked out that Imbalance instead of the M1 we DID in fact get a 50% entry.

One thing to mention, you don't have to aggressively enter on the 50%.

You can actually wait for the candle to close and then enter. Less RR but safer.

This is excluding the imbalance entry which if taken would be at around 5R on its own.

Hi everyone, I just got back into trading and would appreciate your help analyzing my EUR/USD setup to see if my bias and entries are correct. Here’s my multi-timeframe analysis with some screenshots:

1. Weekly timeframe 1st Screenshot — The previous weekly low (red line) has been broken. Although the current weekly candle is still open, the strong bearish daily candle (next point) suggests this break is valid.
2. Daily timeframe 2nd Screenshot — I marked the Previous Day High (violet line) and Daily Open (yellow line). There is a clear bearish imbalance (marked grey) and the daily EMA is pointing downwards, indicating strong bearish momentum.
3. 1-hour timeframe 3rd Screenshot — EMA alignment is bearish. The price tried to break above the Daily Open High but got rejected, reinforcing a bearish bias.
4. Asian session 4th screenshot — The price swept a key level but failed to hold the highs, again confirming bearish momentum.
5. 1-minute timeframe 5th screenshot — I’m looking for potential entries here. Are the vertical lines good entry points, or are there better places to enter based on early price action?

Today could quite possibly be a lovely bullish run towards the previous day high and beyond.

Yesterday we had price sweep previous week low and reject possibly creating the low of the week so next target? Previous week high & previous day high.

That bias is what I'll base my long entries off


I am keeping tabs on this M5 imbalance because in order to go higher I think price will tap into this area and we can then load up on nova entries after.

May happen just before or when NY equity hits.

Good trade

Nova entry would have been candle after which would mean no TP.

Candle 2 open is aggressive approach & Candle 3 open is conservative approach but both can work out.

My chart is marked up like this right now. Where I arrowed would be the 50% entry without using Nova after price tapped into the M5 imbalance slightly.

Entries here would be enough for most to call it a day at a guaranteed 3R.


EDIT:

This is IF you managed to get into the imbalance entry - would have an extra 4.3R

The last nova entry could get another 2R.

See how the high target (yellow line) became support too with a bounce off of it just now in the M1 imbalance.

The whole point of showing all of this is because when you are trading in real time and you think this way you are able to frame ideas and take them and so far you would be in profit just following your own narrative.

do you look at divergences on the signal line? In this case rejection m5 fvg in bull divergence signal line

Yes divergences on nova helps but I have not added that as a big focus.

You'll notice that when I was showing the new addition to Nova (the arrows at reversal) that would also be showing divergence.

That divergence you see is literally the volume pushing to that M1 imbalance.

My bias today is long but my plan from earlier is not... yet. That is why we still follow Nova and you never know, we could be back down when NY hits.

If not, we just keep going where price wants to

So Nova entries ONLY would be:

Trade 1: L Nova
Trade 2: BE Nova

M5 Imbalance tap.

Trade 3: 4.3R (using sweep & M1 imbalance entry) - Optional
Trade 4: 2R Nova
Trade 5: 2R Nova
Trade 6: 2R Nova
Trade 7: 2R Nova

So 7R total for Nova Entries with a possible extra 4.3R

The whole point is to use nova when trend is moving to grab as many 2R's as possible so you're always in the green.

Who cares about losses after?

It is mathematically impossible to be in the RED with Nova if you trust in the system and use context with structure.

It is not a coincidence that Nova has signalled exhaustion here at this high.

So I would be now a bit more weary as price could turn here.

Once I have finished my testing with this feature then I will update it.

Again... after nova signalled exhaustion that is why price violated that M5 imbalance and went for the 50% of M1 imbalance.

Not saying this will work out but you take what you see and if you are wrong, you are wrong.

Yes certainly, you will rack up those R's that way.

But in addition to what I have been teaching recently regarding the reversals/continuation and imbalances that is the other side to help know when and what to trade when you could be in the trenches.

I do keep HTF in focus as well to build a narrative but for me I think understanding the reversal characteristics is key which is why I mainly teach the EMA flip entry as it will keep you more so on the right side to collect the coins lol

I am now trying to show the WHY before the EMA flip if that makes sense. A lot more advanced but if I taught this from Day 1 it wouldn't be suitable for beginners.

Will probably add on first page that from after page 100 is the more advanced stuff.
