Hey alphaomega, after more than 10 years with this method (great achievement!) and considering it's partially manual, what statistics are you able to pull out? Win percentage, risk reward, and other data that you surely have on hand.

alphaomega, are you able to share the mt5 version with everyone?

Things are moving a bit slow, but still moving. After 2 weeks of testing so far the Grid is working fine on MT5. Now I'm working on the automated part. New strategies will be added with 2 options. 1. Trading on semi-automated mode where the system requires manual activation to enter trades and 2. Fully automated mode where it trades on it's own. I completely changed the pattern recognition method. Instead of hardcoding the trading models like in the older versions by describing them line by line, now I'm using machine learning approach to analyse the shape of the grid. Basically the patterns are converted to neural network score system and it all comes down to 2 simple numbers that measure the balance of the grid. When the grid is significantly out of balance to one side then we can activate a strategy to trade this imbalance. This seems to produce good result and the system generates profits over 80% of the days while on the losing side around 50% of the losing positions are caused by news events so most of them can be avoided. This is better result then my older version for MT4.

Another thing I have added is sound alerts system that also have option to send the signals as notifications to the mobile MT5 terminal for Android or iOS.
This also adds the possibility to control the grid remotely from the mobile terminal. As you know the mobile terminal does not have such options to control EAs. But, it's still possible to do it by placing orders. The orders can act like instruction for the Grid. I Have already tested this and it works.

New update for the MT5 version - now we have pop-up charts directly connected to the dashboard with matching color themes and option to apply automatically your own templates with additional indicators on them! Simply click on the symbol name in the upper left corner of each cell and the chart will open and you can see the history of the grid levels for each time frame.

About push notifications. When you enable this option from the settings, you can get direct alerts on desktop and the grid signals can be send to the mobile MT5 terminal. Threshold level and notification frequency can be adjusted. By default we use level 20 and 5 minutes minimum interval.

The system can also trade these signals automatically. Or in mixed semi-automated mode where you open and manage the positions from the mobile terminal while the grid is active. When you close the position from the mobile terminal the desktop detects this and will not intervene further until you open another trade.
