Cable was excellent example for trend trade today. We had at least 3 good entry signals today with 5m entry points, And even now, after europe is closed, cable still trying to push higher. Also in NZD USD we had a few good long signals.
In total, In these 2 pairs we had at least 10 buy signals and 100% hit rate today.
Unfortunately I was away from my desk today......but still I was able to catch quick 11 pips in cable in the end of the session.

I tried only 1 short position with the grid on usdchf today, 5 pips stop and ended up with +5 profit. I'm still studying setups and try to spot them on grid. I think I saw a H1 bounce trade developing (don't remember where maybe eurgbp) but then I had to go and don't know how it ended.

Was that a legit entry on m1 boxes + 2 column fibo? Tight stop beyond entry boxes and fibo confluence is OK or too tight and risky? In the video setups they rarely talk about stop you see only winners..
Is there a way to tell from the grid if a level has already been tested recently or if price is making new high/lows without watching the charts?

Yes the USDCHF setup on your screenshot looks Ok. Keep in mind that in trend trades, the 1m entry is the riskiest. So it is good that you use tight stop. Because once the price breaks the 1m L2 , there is no point to hold the trade. Keep the loses small! You can always re enter again at better price. In this case if it goes up, you have valid 5 min entry.
During trends, 5 min entries in general are "safer" but you don't get them very often.
About stops..... for the top 10 major pairs, your max Stop loss should be no more than 15 pips. regardless of the setup. I personally use 15 pips initial hard stop, and about 6-10 pips soft(mental) stop. I try to keep my average losing trade as small as possible. (currently it's about 7 pips.)

But I wonder is it ok to scalp at heavy overbought from m1 box?
If you look at chart is buyng and selling very high or very low (euru, usdjpy, ucad...)
How can we tell from the grid where we are in price? Only from fibo blue shade? because from grid we only see that we are in dark blue on H1
this is extreme risky scalp selling the lowest low at support (but i couldn't tell without watching chart) . I enter only because of grid signal for learning, let's see if give few pips.

Edit 2: It would have worked out very well.
People are selling USD across the board on the rumours that FED will hold the low rates until april 2016. If this turns out to be true on next FOMC - there is going to be a lot of stop runs especially in USDJPY and USDCAD.
So hold on, and fasten your seat belts - risk and volatility is back! It's going to be fun the next few months......
On Nzd/Usd again for the 4th time today.

Going for a 10-20 Pips.

Took the similar kind with Nzd/Jpy so far +11.

I have few questions.

If it goes against you, where will be your stop.

What kind of exit strategy you have for this trade.

I'm flat now! I don't have positions currently. This idea was only for the current day. Even if I have some longer term bias, in terms of actual trading, I look at each day as separate event. Each new day = clean slate, new opportunities......
In terms of cable (and euro), it still looks like it wants to go more up than down. NZD also looks strong. So when london opens, I'm looking more for long signals, at least until we get strong reversal signal.
For stops, as I already said, my maximum stop in any trade is 15 pips , regardless of the trade setup.

Lots of good volatility today. Somehow I missed the morning reversal in euro and cable.....
I made 17 trades , finished the day +15 pips. Not too bad.....
Someone asked for examples....
We had some very good long "bounce" and "blue to white" trades after the CPI news....... also later in GBPJPY we had PERFECT short bounce, but I was too focused on the price and forgot to make a screenshot.
