This is also how you see where price might be heading to next... that sudden volume spike and then fades out at the prev day high.

Asia low looking really nice though too.

Quick 2R from prev day high with some drawdown I dont like but hey... that's how it goes.

Good morning,
for me, this wouldn’t have been a trade, as it doesn’t fit my rules. We didn’t have two strong green volume bars in Nova, and the signal line didn’t cross from below to above.

But anyway, nice catch

Thats okay, you should always follow your own rules.

For me, price broke back above yesterdays high so thats all the conviction I needed.

Gekko made a good point though, when nova is below the signal line and crosses then the entry after is much more safe.

I don't mind if I lose from a trade that did that first.

It would still be in play taking the next signal but just too close to the high for me.

Yes, I did consider that trade, but it was too close to the high for a 2:1 setup and, in hindsight, it would have ended at breakeven anyway.
I’m also waiting for a pullback now, as price is currently too close to the high for my liking.

For me the sudden volume spike to break back above prev day high was what I was looking at... the signals after are still in play but I just had a feeling price was going to head back to the high again and also offered 2R.

But yeah price was too close to the high.

Edit: they're not in play now but thats how it is... BE or loss lol

First of all i want to thank you for amazing system.
Been testing it for few days and so far i had mostly good results. I believe the results will be even better with time and practice. I definitely think this system can make most people profitable.

I've started demo trading Nova from Tuesday and opened 12 positions 1:2 RR:
6 TP
2 BE
1 Early Close
3 SL
It could've been a lot better but my trading window is when im working and its been hard days and couldn't fully focus on the chart.

Started trading NASDAQ since for me it has lowest spread, next is Gold and so far, i don't know what other think but past days PA for NASDAQ wasn't the best. Its been hard for me to catch setups and if there was good setup, i missed it because of work. I might stick to Gold for now, to only one symbol.

Below are my screen shots of my positions. I've decided to make 2 windows, one for 1M and other for 5M. The start wasn't the best but for 4 days i think its a good start. I know what to look for now, i know to trust the system and im planning on staying on demo until i make 100% of the account before going on Real.

Thanks for commenting, all comments are welcome here to keep the community together.

Have had a look at your entries and the only thing I would say is missing is the context.

With M1 you will see the turn of the market first more or less... i.e when price is turning bullish/bearish in the main trend direction. However, before that happens context comes from the why. Why is price turning and that is what I have been trying to explain mainly.

Need liquidity to move from zone to zone so you can be confident in the nova entries. With some of your entries there were imbalances that would have needed to be filled and therefore a better signal would be when liquidity or an imbalance has been purged beforehand.

You are new to the system so over time you'll understand much more. But there is plenty of information on here to digest

To summarise... all you need really is to understand structure and liquidity.

What is the trend? UP?

Then look for liquidity below...

Where is that?

Recent lows, important areas like PWL, Prev session low, Prev day low, imbalances below etc...

Wait for those areas to be purged and for there to be a reaction i.e recent high being broke (structure) and look for the imbalance below if there is one.

Then use nova once you are confident those things have happened.

Everyone trades differently so you could focus on order blocks if you must or whatever else you look for but the fact is... nova helps once you are confident price has done what is intended to do in order to continue moving to the next liquidity pool.

It's a very easy concept but it's literally how the market works... that's why I dont really care about the patterns and stuff that we get taught because in reality you just need to wait for a reaction and frame your trades from that.

You don't need to be a sniper... you just need to participate ideally with a mechanical approach so you can at least gain some kind of understanding of how profitable your approach is.

Nova just helps once the rocket is at lift off.

Thank you for replying and tips. I didn't included context of my trades because I had to leave soon. I will try to present it to you tomorrow with details.
Right now I'm on page 30 of the thread. Stopped at it because I needed to make notes of important information and got back to the start so i didn't fully processed imbalance concept yet, but I'm a fast learner

Little tip for trading a fake out/liquidity grab.

Test this yourself but if you see price aggressively grab liquidity and get a nice long pin bar

It's highly unlikely that the low of that bar will not be ran again and therefore you can net a nice trade off of it like below:

I didn't take this trade as I'm already done for the day but it's something for you all to look at.

Target would be the asia high.

See also how price bounced off the entry.

Went through my trades and forgot to mention in first post that i was using 1M for entry and 5M for signal and a little bit bigger picture after 18 Feb, so first trades were blind and taken like a noobie.

Here is my context of trades.
Picture One
First position was bad. No reason to enter. I fully agree there were no context for it. Second one could make better test of EMA 50. I looked more on Nova as they were my first trades in first day using Nova.
Picture Two
The reason of trade was EMAs were pointing up, price tested EMA 100 and bounced up and closed above EMA 50, Nova made two nice volume bars with signal line crossing 0.
Picture Three
Same as above, EMA pointing up, price tested EMA 100 and came back up and closed above EMA 50, entry with Nova was a little bit too late. Now i checked and if I traded price retest with same rules it could've hit 1:2RR before that big drop.
Picture Four
Again, same as above. Entry on close of second histo of Nova on 1M. 5M signal line below 0. Trade closed at break even after making to the 1:1RR
Picture Five (duplicate with pic. Four. Uploaded correct picture in Attachments)
First entry with same rules, EMAs pointing down, price tested EMA 50 and EMA 100 and Nova printed two histo on 1M and belowe 0 on 5M
Second entry was bad. I was distracted and after seeing Nova signaling for entry and went for it too fast.
Picture Six
Two trades from first day with Nova with only 1M chart. EMA 50 and 100 were pointing up, price closed above EMA 200, Nova gave entry signal on 1M
Second entry: EMAs pointing down, Nova giving entry signal. Closed position at the white horizontal line because i felt like its not gonna reach TP. Still ended up with +0.5R.
Also somehow i had on 1M Price Filter MA Length set to 150. Later on i changed it to 200.
Picture Seven
I think this is my best one yet.
First trade a little to early, price made double bottom before with less volume on second "leg", Nova signaled entry, price closed above EMA 100, Nova signal line on 5M was above 0
Second trade same rules. I see now it was a little bit too early, price didn't broke last HH yet.
Third trade i think was good, price broke HH, Nova signaled entry on 1M with increasing volume, Nova signal line above on 5M

Right now as i was typing this message i saw good trade on Gold that i would take and..it would up with profit. (second attachment)
Price was in range but slowly coming up, broke through and retested, then closed above recent high and Nova made entry signal on 1M, on 5M, Nova signal line was above 0
