just aside note about candles.
Only take a trade with the candle
use it as a filter.
Ie on my charts
green is up candle
black is down candle
Red candle is a Doji
Only take up trades with a green candle
down with a black candle
red candle can tell you a change is coming

I think anything will work fine in this current market. The question is how does TEB3 work with those timeframes in a choppy market? Try backtesting it in a market like the first 3 quarters of 2004...

Same here, I'm using TEB2 (4H, 30M) with channels, and the system is working fine. Today three trades (cable, yen, cad) have given 150 pips sofar (yen is still open). I'm happy with this one!

& the best of the TEB systems is the TEB2
ie. 4 hour & 30 min is good

when to draw the line ?
once crossing in 4h chart , draw line immediately , or wait 4h bar closed ,then to draw the line on 30min chart?
draw them on by hand - I think it is the best way
start with the day stoch - draw on the chart a line where the stoch crosses
drop down the 4 hour chart - then draw a 2nd line where the stoch crosses
then drop down to the 30 min chart

Guys, how do you actually use channels?
Here is one way I use channel info. The channel here is pointing up, and it sometimes happens that stochs on 4H chart do not show when the trend (here downtrend - the thick red line) changes. For instance in this example you could not draw the last thick green line using 4H stochs, they both stay well above 20, and you would miss the next upmove.
So, I check the 1H chart and if both stochs on that chart visit under 20 like here, I take that as a signal that the trend is up, and start opening buy positions based on 30M chart. Especially, if the price is near channel borders. In this way I ease up the TEB2 rules a little, depending on the channel direction.
Note that this 1H stoch lows near the earlier down channel upper boundary also indicates the end for this channel.

I agree with you TEB,
I believe TEB2 is the best, I also believe that 4H channels are a great tool to watch and use

I agree, most of "systems" (> 95% ?) in this forum are pure waste of time, they either perform poorly, they are too ad-hoc, too complicated, not really tested etc.

On my 1H chart there is a stoch down signal (the red thich line) early this morning, and if you are using 15M chart as a shorter timeframe, then later on a sell signal on that 15M chart, which sofar would have given you some 25 pips. Note that when stochs are on the longer timeframe pointing down, you should only open SELL positions on shorter tf.
So no false signals imo.
