i had this trade Friday morning, while learning the strategy i try and concentrate on 1 trade at a time then one day have multiple trades going at one time.

From your point of view was this entry correct in terms of my thinking?

when you get ready to trade in the morning, do you set alerts for anything or do you predominantly look at gold?

I just mark out liquidity areas and wait for reactions.

Never enter early, wait for intent... high volume away from a POI and then look for imbalance.

If price trends then use nova entries targetting next liquidity i.e previous day high

Ok thank you for the advice.

Do you mainly trade gold or do you look at other pairs while waiting for gold to hit your areas?

Unfortunately, it still happens that I enter too early, even on high-volume candles. That’s why I’m really looking forward to the update that will show the sweeps, so I can then enter using the correct imbalance

When you see a high volume candle it can signal reversal, you want to see price bounce from a poi and wait it out a little.

I don't take every nova signal because of this... I hate high volume candles but if you see price is reversing from a HTF poi then you can position accordingly

Going off the list of rules and things to mark out, out the start you mentioned about marking out when the 15min signal line crossed the 0 level and you got look for entries.
on this picture how would you go about looking for trade after the green horizontal line as the ema all say bearish but the signal line on the nova says bullish.

sorry for all the questions

When the M15 is crossing the 0 level and aligns with the HTF trend you'll see the EMA's flip on the M1 which then allows you to start looking for longs if bullish.

Are you still using the 200 EMA..? or have you changed it to another number as mine looks different to yours.. yours seems to get the full cross before mine

Hi bud, yes you are right and good observation. I use the 240LWMA in place of the 200EMA at times. Depends on the instrument.

I think I mentioned it somewhere but I'll add an update on that soon.

200 is still fine to use as 50 & 100ema still give you the cross but the 200EMA does lag behind so swapping to 240LWMA helps see the cross better.

I've added a setting to nova update that will allow you to change your long term moving average.

Thanks and I believe that the psychological side is probably the most important for any system to work.

If you understand market structure to almost any trading method you can be profitable but of course once those losses come in they just send you somewhere else and you can't see it again with the same clarity as when you first learn.

Volume & Liquidity for me are key so my system is based on those.

Need liquidity to see the volume but also need to know where the market makers or their algo is targetting to have the best chance to trade in their direction.

If I see price purge liquidity and then the volume going into it completely disappears then I can prepare for price to reverse and find entries.
