I think Cable Bulls are targeting the 1.3500 area so it seems like Cable may continue to rise in the beginning of the week. If the 1.3500 handle can act as resistance I think the Bears may take control and force price to decline from around that area. Should the scenario of a decline playout I think Bears 1st target will be the 1.3200 zone.

Let see how the market will unfold.

Cable Bulls were really strong last week, They managed to rally price higher than I anticipated to 1.3585 area. I was anticipating bears to take control last week but that was not the case. I think this week bears may try to take control if 1.3585 acts as a strong resistance. If Cable closes above 1.3600 then the scenario that I have in mind will be invalid and that will mean that Bulls are still in control.

Last week we saw the Cable Bears defend the 1.3565 area and try to take control as anticipated but on Friday a strong rally played out and went higher than anticipated. Even though the rally was powerful and reached closer to 1.3565, there is a probability that the rally was a retracement and a leg lower by the Bears to 1.3380 may play out this week. If price closes above 1.3565 then the scenario of price declining this week will be invalid.

Last week's Scenario we were looking for Cable Bears to push price down to 1.3380 and unfortunately they were unable to reach that zone but managed to reach 1.3420 area. From there Cable bounced from the 1.3420 zone and is now rallying. It seems like the rally which is playing out now is a retracement targeting 1.3530. There is a probability Bears may take control from 1.3530 area and cause price to decline even further. A close above 1.3565 will invalidate the bearish scenario and it will mean that Bulls are still in control.

There is a probability that GBPUSD Bulls are in control and the scenario that I am forcasting is for GBPUSD to rally higher.

If price declines below 1.3010 consider the pattern invalid.
