how is everybody doing with the TEB systems? Im doing very well with TEB2, I havent tried the other 2

Hello everybody...
Very nice systems Teb! Thank you for your ideas.
For now i'm playng whith Teb3 system and it look very promising. (just made 300+ pips on AUD/USD in about 3 days).
Teb3 is the right system for me because i dont need to watch it permanently. (I have limited time to watch the market)

Maybe someone can write an EA for Teb3 system? It seem much easier to program than Teb2 and Teb1.

Yep, euro is turning (look at the latest data, and more importantly, the channel), and cable will follow. It may take a few days but I'd say we'll go north. Yen is an interésting case, any comments on that? Is it turning with euro and cable?

Already did. Forward testing now. But I've got to admit, an EA for TEB3 is almost pointless. The TF's are large enough that you can eyeball it in the morning before you go to work and then once again before you go to bed.

BTW, I've got 400+ pips on U/J since 8/14 and it's still running.

Hey nondisclosure, which system are you using? I like teb3, but I find that teb1 can get you into the trades a little earlier just using the same timeframes as teb3. what I like about teb3 though is that it has a better measure of how to stay in the trade. once those two MA's are separated, thats a good indication to stay in the trade.

TEB3. TEB1 is more of a guideline w/ some examples of which 'tools' you could use. Which set in his examples are you using for entry?

Yeah, I took my U/J at 404 pips. Would have had more if I would have held on.

I'll admit that I haven't read this entire thread, but have read a large portion of it. I was wondering what people are using as their stop loss for TEB3. I've just been back paper trading it (3 years, from 2003 to present) and while it has done quite well, I'm concerned about the large stop loss. The original design stated a 50pip stop loss. When I set my stop loss at 50 pips, trades don't last past the first day (testing the EUR/USD). A stop loss setting of 200 pips will allow the trades to come to fruition, but that is quite larger than the originally stated SL of 50 pips. My question is for those who are using TEB3 to make live trades. What are your SLs? When carrying a trade for a couple weeks, I find that my SLs have to be quite large.

I've been using 50 w/ entry and exit on the daily.

I'm not sure why your having problems. Espicially w/ all USD pairs. W/ the US stock market in such wicked flux, most of the USD pairs have been tanking (I've been making some good pips on this trend w/ the EA).

Post some charts of some orders that went against you and lets see what's going on.

Actually, you're right... I just didn't have my parameters set right. I wasn't actually looking at the 4-hour for confirmation. I simply waited for agreement between weekly and daily and then pulled the trigger. I've redone the analysis in a little bit of a different way, and the system seems to be wonderfully profitable!

I looked at TEB 1 when it was posted but didn't progress with it. I recently came across TEB 3 and a quick inspection has sparked an huge interest in its possibilities.

Can someone familiar/experienced (TEB63 ?) with this method confirm a few details please?

The chart indicators are simply: a SMA 4 Close (blue) and a SMA 5 Open(red).

CHart 1 (weekly)
An MA cross here gives the trend direction.
Q Does this trend remain valid ('hold') until the opposite cross?
Q When the MA slopes deteriorate does this also indicate the end of the trend?

CH2 (daily)
This chart is where trading is done. A cross of the MAs in the same direction as the trend on CH1 indicates a possible entry (pink arrow).
Q Exit is indicated by a reverse cross? (pink 'X')

CH3 (4 hour)
Is used for confirmation. An MA cross here in the same direction confirms the entry seen on CH2.
Q Should the confirmation cross occur AFTER the entry cross on CH2 or does it not matter?
Additions and 50% TPs are possible at new H4 crosses or turns -Q as long as the CH2 trend continues?

My initial tests on various charts shows big possibilities for TEB 3. Most of the pairs I've looked at seem to work very well but does anyone have any recommendations which pairs to use?

Same here, I'm using TEB2 (4H, 30M) with channels, and the system is working fine. Today three trades (cable, yen, cad) have given 150 pips sofar (yen is still open). I'm happy with this one!

I've been forward testing TEB2 for about a month now...with sucess. Thanks TEB!

Just wondering what people are using for SL on the 4h/30m or 1h/5m TEB2.

I've used a fixed SL of 15 pips on EUR/USD 1h/5m and it seems to be working for me. How about everyone else?

I have searched all pages of the thread after the introduction of TEB3 but can't find its EA. Could you please upload the one you are testing?

Just to compare to your chart, this is my chart based on TEB3 using 4hour/1hour/15 minute. Trading on the 1 hour.

I'd like to hear you comments and please post other charts if possible

Which does it work better?
Teb1, Teb2 or Teb3 (D-4H-30M or 4H-1H-15M).
