I'm obviously not Dove, but I'm going to guess that he noticed that price nearly reached the R3 point and started to turn, so he got in on the retracement and kept moving his stop up as the price kept barreling down through the pivots while he's waiting for price to turn again for the long signal.

I finally got out at the 80 because of the retrace but I believe it will go on to the central because of the power in the trend.

If you noticed back there I asked why everyone was looking at the long.... I got in on the short when it retraced back to the 116.60...... But what I really was looking for is a retrace at that pivot in which I did get in on a separate trade and left my short trade alone because I knew it was not turning at that point.

So what you are saying is that whenever you are in a position you would be looking for a retrace or change of trend.

Recovering from a flooded house here. It appears that I have missed a very nice ride up and then back down to the Central pivot. Well that is how it goes. Good luck all!!

Only at the pivots..... When the talk of going long came in it was at the R2.... And it was already set at that time for coming down.....

Like right here, Nancy is trying to figure out why I'm still going short when the fibo and retracement says other wise...... It all has to do with the trend.

I think had mentioned it before...... no indicator, no announcement, absolutely nothing can change a trend except the trend itself.

Hi guys I just noticed a possible shooting star formation on the daily charts if it closes low today. Could this possibly lead to lower prices???

I wasn't trying to figure out why you were short, I just wanted to understand why you were so certain that the target would be the central pivot. But you answered that and thank you

Hi bksujal,

As far as i'm aware, there is no way to change it, the best thing to do is try to download a Metetrader which is close to or the same as you're time zone.

And Dove, really appreciate all the advice and guidance.

What´s with all the bold stuff....no need to shout.

If you read through any thread you´ll find that your time on the MT4 platform is decided by your broker as they supply the feed.

To change the time, you have to change your broker. If you can spare the time, just check out the MT4 thread in the forum and the brokers thread....there´s plenty of info there http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

If this continues we will be looking at a sideways move through the night..... The indicator I been watching had flat lined and that is not good news....

Yeah, looks like the downward momemtum has dissapaited.

Bit early to say the trend has moved to up but it is trying to move in that direction.

Sideways range will do me for a while. Can make pips in that environment.
