Good morning to All!

Headlines for the Markets:
Gold prices extended record gains above $5,100/oz; Silver hit a record at $117/oz.
USD/JPY dropped to a four-month low of ¥154 on risk of BoJ currency intervention.
EUR/USD rose to $1.19 amid a looming U.S. gov’t shutdown and Trump’s policies.
AUD/USD posted a yearly high of $0.6950 following commodities rally.
S&P 500 rose 0.50%, supported by gains in Apple, Meta and Microsoft.

Headlines Simplified :

Gold briefly rose above $5,100/oz
Silver hit a new record at $117/oz.
USD/JPY dropped to ¥154.50.
EUR/USD advanced to $1.19.
AUD/USD hit a high of $0.6940.
S&P 500 advanced by 0.50%.

After a double rejection at 1.1900, EURUSD falls down heading to 1.1800-20 and oscillating there until the FOMC rate decision. With that, a 100% extension in D1 TF looks to be completed at exactly 1.1900 and as already seen EURUSD is going south.

If the FED will be hawkish as many expect them to be, EURUSD can visit 1.1700. I don't expect the price to break above 1.1900 considering the sentiment around the FOMC minutes, but I have been wrong before and it can happen again

And just like that ...Rockets turn to rocks. Pleasure turns to pain. Market makers play the retailers like a fiddle. Support/Resistance, oscillators, moving averages, fibs... speaking of fibs they are all LIES. When you stop analyzing metrics or 'News' for comfort and stability the only thing left is the primal instinct you learn to respect the same as finding a mate for your cave or running for cover when a t-rex want to make a meal out of you. Don't think ole t-rex won't wait in the treeline for you to come back to the watering hole because he will as long as you keep showing up. I count 4 times T-Rex has spooked retailers and it looks like fewer and few are showing up. That's a clue.

1.18924 has been rejectcted 3 times in the past hour. At the moment it is down to 1.18885. Waiting for the bulls to throw in the towel? Four distinct tops trendline slightly lower. I agree with your T/A but the rest of it is smoke and mirrors. They don't pump billions of dollars in to a position based on anything but GREED. TO ME IT LOOKS LIKE BIG MONEY IS ROLLING THEIR POSITIONS OVER. Setting the stage to gut the Bulls.... (I have been wrong before too... lol)

And as time goes by I prepare to accept the fact that my first analysis was way better than my second

First I said the price will go up to 1.1920. After that I said I do not expect the price to break above 1.1900.

First right, second wrong. Anyway luckily I didn't use SL on my buys (I never use SL) and I did not close them either because something was confusing me very much about this setup. However, now I have closed my buy positions and I am ready to keep my sell positions open all the way to the FOMC decision time. Now I hold on to my second setup and let's see...

BTW in H1 TF there are forming RSI and MACD bearish divergences.

One needs to be pure trading genius in order to grow a small account of 100 $ up to 100K or even less than that. I am not a trading genius. I just have enough money to fight the market
