Does the 4-hour timeframe must be in the same direction as the daily and weekly timeframes to start a 4h trade?

Hello Emmanuel,

I'm just playing around with the tmsv19 EA.

These are my settings:

Trade period: M15
Entry: TDI dynamic entry
Take profit: 10 pips
Stop loss: 20 pips

I don't understand, why the ea is opening a new trade, at the same time, when he finishes one trade.
He is not waiting for the next TDI cross.

On the M1 chart it's better to see, what I mean.
At the same minute the ea finishes a trade, he jumps right into the next one.

Why is he not waiting for the next dynamic TDI cross?

Maybe you have an idea,

When you are trading M15 the TMS_V19 EA should be running in your M15 chart. Do Not switch timeframe when EA is running.

Do Not use Dynamic Entry lower than 4Hr. Best when trading the 4Hr and this is when you can enter a trade any time during the 4-hour trade window.

My favourite is to use M5 Static Entry for TMS_EVO with multiple entries.

To reply a few PMs on whether I trade XAG because it has been trending for many months.

No. I prefer to trade XAUUSD.

But if you want to trade XAGUSD, it is the same TMS_V19 EA chart template.

Use M5 trade setup entries with the Daily Trend 2/8 in the EA.

Use the LWMA5,Close, Shift0 (White MA) and the 5EMA,Typical Price,Shift+2 (Yellow MA) , and follow the Price Action.

There has been quite a lot of discussions in this thread going far back to 2013. The TDI is based on the RSI and moving averages of the RSI data.

Trading Made Simple is based on the 5-Method which is trading Price Action and the Market Trend.

The RSI also the TDI can be used to determine when the Price is trending and the RSI is also 'trending'.

How to use the RSI to determine the market trend is found in these attachments.
