147.40 hold it from advance further.

I have been trying to short this pair, but with little success.

I always see it at the combination of two pairs, and for me somehow both seem overvalued. Not way overvalued, but both over their fair value.

Short it again this morning. Hopping to see it under 172,4 this month. Lets see how it goes.

Pair still going up. Yen showing weakness for almost 3 weeks now.

Geopolitics again playing strong this weekend. Moldova elections and Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant safety are important events.

Closed my shorts, and went long @172.65. Lets see how it plays out. I expect a bounce here to go over @173.

Geopolitics seemed to improve since 1 week ago, and the US lock down is having an exacerbating effect in this pair.

I'm tempted to close longs here. Crazy weekend move on UJ. Lets see if Euro can go a bit higher vs USD. It started lower. So if recovers a bit that would be perfect.

Still, fundamentas are on the Yen favor. But, don't expect intervention, as this way around a weak Yen is great for an export country like Japan.

BoJ’s “hands‑off + gradual normalization” is deliberate; they are allowing some pain, but aiming for a healthier long‑term equilibrium, ie largely priced in. JXY and EXY both seem to be on the up and up, with the JXY downtrend looking slightly more pronounced





On the whole though the EURJPY chart looks healthy and I think we can see more upside if we push back towards the high 180.XX levels; Lagarde has signalled that theyre happy with ECB rates, nothing in the immediate future re BoJ or ECB news, and the mood in the market is generally risk-on, so Im targeting the high 181.XX levels

EUR/JPY remains in a consolidative phase, hovering near 186.60-186.80, with a neutral-to-bullish outlook as it maintains a strong long-term uptrend. While immediate daily pressure suggests a potential minor pullback to 185.87, the broader momentum remains upward, with institutional buying supporting the trend and key resistance near 187.93
