This morning in Tokyo, the USD/JPY rose further as the 4-hourly chart rose, and the 1-hourly chart trended upwards. It stalled after reaching a previous high, engulfing all four sell orders. The decline stopped just before breaking 156 yen, but the bottom is still not in sight, so no profits have been taken.
A fractal lit up around 156.15, which I believe is the current resistance.

The USDJPY price action on the daily time frame is sideways. On Tuesday, the price action made a bearish breakdown of the 156.515 area but a bullish charge on Friday closed at the area – retaining it as an intra-day horizontal resistance. Technically, no directional momentum is sustainable in the current market mode.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

In Tokyo, the USD/JPY and GBP/JPY are correlated, and I have traded USD/JPY short twice, but once I entered London, the GBP/JPY is inversely correlated with the USD/JPY, and it has started to correlate with the GBP/USD, so I have shorted the GBP/JPY, and next I am aiming to short the USD/JPY 30-minute chart.
