QuoteDislikedThe Sunday Candle pops in at 15:30 ET and that is the central pivot for the weekly calculation
Dislikeddove,
This goes back to my question about the fractured nature of FX data (you might have missed the post here, regarding pip accuracy of pivots given fractured data feeds).
We know the interbank market opens at 17:00. I've never heard of any significance of 15:30 ET Sunday. FXTrek's Intellichart opens at 14:45 ET. I could probably find 5 other feeds that open at various times between 15:00 and 17:00. Is 15:30 a set standard, or just part of your feed and thus your calculations?Ignored
DislikedOne of 3 things will happen on the 50% retrace (1) retrace past the 50% line 15 pips or so and then turn and head for the next pivot... (2) retrace back where it came from, in this case it is the weekly central and then turn or (3) retrace back where it came from and then continue on to the next pivot..... Be careful at the 50% retrace or you could get caught.Ignored
