Hallo folks,
I'm long in the game but due to research i stumbled about futures for Forex pairs. I know, most times only USD currencies but anyway.
Now my questions:
Is it really true, that you have no swap-fees overnight?? That would be awesome!! Currently I pay around 3% p.a. on all brokers for long EUR/USD.
1. Question: Can someone confirm that you rally don't pay interest rates / swaps on a future?
2. Question: Ist anyone able to give a cost example of buying and selling 100.000 Units of EUR/USD will all costs from open to close one contract in future markets?
Let me give you an example on forex/CFD:
Instrument: Eur/Usd
Spread: 0
Commission per side: $2.5 (e.g. Tickmill broker), so if I BUY 100.000 Eur/Usd and want to SELL it imidiately I have costs of $5 to be in the market ONCE per 100.000 Units, worth 0.5 Pips of costs.
What about futures? Are they even cheaper??
Do you pay less commission per 100.000 Units on EUR/USD?
