I've traded a similar set up, originally posted by BigBear (2008). Just a few different settings than what appears on the original post. It's nice to see that some old strategies that work are still alive and well today.

Hi traders,

I’m looking for a few disciplined traders who want to team up and practice together for FTMO / funded challenges starting from January.
This is NOT a service, not selling anything, and nothing commercial — just traders helping traders, sharing charts, and staying disciplined.
I trade XAUUSD (Gold) and US30 during the US session only, using a structured system built around:

  1. ICT/SMC concepts (liquidity sweep → displacement → BOS/CHOCH → OB/FVG retrace)
  2. EMAs 6/9/25 for trend alignment
  3. Donchian 60/20/5
  4. ATR-based volatility filter
  5. HTF bias from H1 & H4

If anyone has failed challenges before, I’m happy to share my process and help you improve so you can try again with a stronger plan. No selling, no signals — just support and accountability.
