I like to naked trading. Draw horizontals. And I also like to imitate screenshots, learn about what indicator it is.
I have read about candlesticks and patterns. But I don't want to remember their names.

USD Federal Funds Rate tomorrow at 2pm EST (Florida time). We had a nice sell off after BOJ Core CPI y/y, and could see further downside if the Fed's cut rates as expected. Don't trade the print though, wait to see the market's reaction, before trading. Trade safe y'all!

In general NO
My view is rather simple
The Price can only go 3 ways
UP DOWN or SIDEWAYS
Our problem is finding which way and for how far
Now because of all the Time-frames on offer
We all have different expectations
So this is were those very clever coders try to help us
by creating a multitude of indicators
Now we need something that helps with Direction & how far
Like you in my early days looked at every indicator I could find
after a long period of time
I found ones that I was happy with and ones that confirmed there performance
I kept these as my core setup, tested the robustness of them
But as something new got posted I checked it against what had become my core method
Deciding if it produced better or worse result if it did I added to my core and removed the one it beat
also I tested it only on the same time-frame
after time did check a full range of time-frames but not to concerned as I had made a
decision that I was only aiming for a portion of the Daily ADR
So to sum up
I built my method by one indicator at a time
Not full blown different templates one after another

The USD/JPY 15-minute chart fell as expected in the morning, but the fractal low from Europe (30-minute blue solid line, 15-minute blue dashed line) prevented it from falling and rose. I went short, expecting it to fall again, but it touched SL10 pips, then rose again, so I changed to long and closed with a fractal. I'll close with that for today, but there's a chance it will continue to rise.

The market does in fact fluctuate, but the fluctuations are in an unchanging pattern. That is why pattern recognition and technical analysis are possible. Many pontifs tend to try to overcomplicate the market. I think this is due to them wanting you to fail. If someone tells you that something is hard, you approach it with a myriad of tools in an attempt to conquer it. If however someone were to tell you that it were easy. You would only bring one tool.
Don't compare your trades to others. Most often the masses are the asses
