Question for the more experienced traders here, what sites do you visit for JPY news (apart from ForexFactory that is)? Especially politics side? I'm thinking this weeks ranging was influenced by politics/new PM and as a rookie I was oblivious. I need to get better at having atleast a high level knowledge of the current fundamentals going on.

soo, i got bored and decided to do some art on my jxy, im still questioning how and why a pattern can show in a chart that has random calculations, 1st i thought they were limited to only mainstream charts that everybody knows, but turns out that patterns show every where even outside of trading how is this possible? is it a hidden flow of money that creates these some kind of super natural force? or is it a collective energy we all put out into charts coming from us, when somebody gets fomo, opens/closes algos and chaos that all form a pattern?

this has some beautiful price action
indicators showing patterns in random calculations
trendlines/zones/support/resistance tests/retests and rejections all in random calculations
can even see some triangles and h&s and flags
and this gap? why did this gap close perfectly i thought gaps were limited to weekend news and why did it make a pattern at the exact gap point, jxy was in some serious flow here, i think gaps r more then what we think they r

you are right!!
Cycles exist regardless of news...news only amplifies movement...if you have the patience to examine the Dow Jones since 1800 you will see the exact same cycles that move the market today...

this is something i find very interesting, these are built into people as well, the same patterns for example i seen a few TE of peoples trades wins and losses and guess what they showed? divergence patterns, peaks and falls just like the money charts - if news amplifies, did news amplify that person as well at the peak and the drop? was it a cold they caught or did they receive happy/bad news that blurred there vision or sharpened there focus

i think if we find the answer, we can spot the fakeouts
