It would be interesting to see the info you are using to reach this number. even the monthly has an uptrend line around 1.3000. it maybe that our lines are set in similar locations but we see it differently.

the lower it goes the more longs i can add later.

It is 50% retracement of the bull run of 2006-2007. We are heading there but first it will have to go back to low 1.36xx.

Current EUR/USD range for 2007 is less than a thousand pips while the average annual should be close to 2000 pips. With just 4,5 months till the end of the year it is likely to target at least 1.18 during the remainder of the year with very short and few (if any) retracements along the way.

1.3400 Area could make a retracement. Cover your shorts.

78.6 is holding for now, but I suspect we will see a completion of the 100% retrace soon. If not by the Europe open then (more likely) the US open. We'll see. What will be really interesting is what will happen next (if the 100% retrace materializes).

Whatever happens, this sure is a fascinating move...

This sure is interesting to see what happens. I got out on this downtrend at 1.3400, but I have a order to short the EUR/USD ready filled if it hits the 61.8% mark as a retracement resistance (around 1.35ish).

Fascinating if you believe in Fibs. I think there is a 33% chance the Euro will move up, a 33% chance it will move sideways, and a 33% chance it will go down.

Hello traders,

Currently accessing USD/EUR gives me the following details:
Weekly Trend direction: Bullish
Weekly trend reversal level: 1.3630

the Euro remains in an uptrend which is heading back towards 1.3800, and possibly higher still, towards 1.4100.
Bearish momentum means the weekly direction will reverse this week again, so we continue to look to sell into corrective rallies.

Counter-trend opportunities: 1.3850, 1.3900, 1.4000 and 1.4100

I think that the fib 100% is only touchable but not brokable, so i think EUR is still in a safe level, but i don't expect a rapid reversal. 34xx and 35lows will stay for almost a week.

EURUSD

EURUSD is in down trend, the fall from 1.3839 extended to as low as 1.3405, and further fall towards 1.3300 is expected in a couple of days. Near term resistance is at 1.3510, and as long as this resistance holds, down trend will continue.

It is possible to speculate a move to the 1.33 area, however as of right now, their might be a small retracement back to the 1.35 level depending on how price acts. 1.3400 is a critical support that needs to be broken if it wants to decline further.

I think because of euro Stock , EUR/USD will fall more ... maybe will touch 1.32...

I agree with ya Falcon. Yesterday was a a Doji day. probably will retrace back to 1.3542 (38.1% Fibs). But I kinda nervous if today will form a Spinning Top.

It seems as if EUR/USD has been range bound, being stuck in the middle between 1.3440 and 1.3400ish. I believe the fundamental events later today will have an impact on where EUR/USD will go.

Based on my charts, I believe that

15min charts:
Stochastics and RSI are currently trending downward, however their may not be enough candles between for these indicators to remain downward. Thus possibly allowing for oversold indicators prior to todays fundamental analysis.

1hour charts:
Stochastic and RSI shows downward indications, however these indicators are trading in the mid ranges of their system.

4hour charts:
Stochastic and RSI shows EUR/USd in overbaught areas, possibly supporting the fact, that EUR/USD has taken brutal hits downward. 4hr charts may also reveal a retracement to 1.35ish.

Is anyone noticing a triangle formation occuring in the 30 minutes chart??? (Not including the break out). It looks as if it may break out to either the top or bottom soom.
