Before you started posting in this thread again, I was already posting charts as per my understanding and I will continue to do that as often as I can to help new members.

I dont not trade lower time frames, whenever I have mentined lower time frames I usually refered to M5/M30 setups that replicate H4/D1, as that has helped me learn and understand the indicator behavior more quickly and clearly.

I’m currently using the latest smGoldenCross Signals v8.3 and have also posted templates along with indicators to help new members (you can check from PaperClip). From my 1 year experience, and Dr Alexandr Elder, Triple Screen concept works best when the timeframe ratio stays within 4–6, for example H1/H4/D1 or H4/D1/W1 , the higher the time frames the better - better for to be traders like me with day jobs

I’ve seen that some experienced traders successfully trade lower timeframes like M5 or even M1, but for amateurs like me, those timeframes increase the risk of mistakes and losses. That’s why I prefer to keep things simple and structured, focusing on higher timeframes and cleaner setups.

One thing I’ve learned through my journey which I want to share is that Dow Theory (Market structure) is the key, understanding Higher Highs, Higher Lows, Lower Highs, and Lower Lows (HH, HL, LH, LL) concept forms the foundation of all technical trading. Once we can read structure properly, any method, including the Golden Cross, becomes far more effective because we’re trading in harmony with the trend, not against it.

Trading is a serious field, like any other professional (medicine or engineering) and requires years of study, testing, and practice. Reading alone is not enough.

My reason for repeating myself and certain points in this thread is not to clutter the thread but to keep the Golden Cross discussion simple, structured, and peaceful, so it doesn’t turn into something like the TMS thread by BigE which sadly became more of a debate and some times a War Room than a learning space.

Emmanuel, I can’t match your level of experience, what you’ve achieved took decades of learning and I dont have that much of time left. I believe that before we try to run, we must first learn to walk. At this stage, I’m happy to keep walking steadily rather than rushing and risking an injury. Learning is good but sometimes over load of information and that too in short span of time can be dangerous.

Back at that time I also have studied dcginc posts ( I was a year younger, more energetic than I am today) his posts also have wealth of information of information, using ATR for SL and WTDA etc some concepts I have studied.

I find great value in the Golden Cross method because it helps me stay with the prevailing trend, especially in trending markets. I have relaized that most of the time new traders including myself tend to lose money during ranging phases. There must be 100s to Golden Cross/Death cross strategies but the best part of this Golden Cross method by George is to predict the future Cross of 5 LWMA open/close (trend can shift ) and Closing price for that cross to happen, placing Stop orders before the cross overs happening riding the trend.

I have also noticed that in your charts you have recently posted you are not using smGoldenCross Trend_v2.2 indictaor, that displays the Higher, Current Lower time frame trend in the Upper Left corner of the chart, might be you are missing that piece of the puzzle, as you are using only smGoldenCross Signals_v8.3 alone on the chart, and using your expertise and previous tarding knowledge to trade D1/M5 on BTCUSD.

I just place the Stop Orders on HTF H4/D1 and move away and just check when time allows to see whether they have been triggered or not , If not cancel them.
It might not be perfect but still working for me. Sometimes I execute market orders when I am on the screen.

Whatever I have posted in this thread already including post is what I have understood from this threadm as I am new I can be wrong in any comprehending.

Also a kind request to George, whenever time permits, please keep posting and sharing your ideas, as they are extremely helpful for many of us who are still learning everyday.

Top left of the chart displays valuable information for all types of traders.

Scalpers and intraday traders can shift to shorter timeframes if needed.

Again, I’d like to reiterate as per my limited experience, lower timeframes may look tempting for new traders, but the higher the timeframe, the better and more reliable the signals.

For risk management, start thinking in R-multiples ,it’s a very helpful and professional way to measure and manage your trades

Triple Screen by Dr Alexander Elder is a complete system in itself.

George has made it easier for us by incorporating that concept in his indicators , displaying all in one chart (top left of the chart)

You only look at the three timeframes - what is the Current, the Upper and the Lower.

Multi-timeframe analysis is important in most trading systems out there. @SwingMan is right about the timeframes.

Close for crossing down vaue in the data window and the value displayed in the top left of the chart is the same.

At this Predicted Closing Price level both the avgOpen and avgClose will become equal

Entry price is calculated based on the predicted Close price less (half channel range/Half ATR Range) less 20 points bufer (in case of Sell)
Entry price is calculated based on the predicted Close price plus (half channel range/Half ATR Range) 20 points bufer (in case of Buy)
You need to check the value of Half Channel Range / Half ATR from the smLazy Hedging Channel Osc_v3.0
At this level one should place the SELL STOP Order

OR

This Entry Price can also be used as an exit from an existing trade, in case one want to ride the trend, This way one wll be in the trend for

No. Two moving averages crossing Up and crossing Down do not imply change in trend.
In sideways range bound market conditions, the two LWMAs crosses up and down.

@SwingMan explained this in his posts. Observe the price OPen and CLose every candle/bar. The size of the candle/bar body is important. Also take note of the candle/bar High and Low. The length of the upper and low wicks are important.

No. There are exception to this.
We should not try predict the market. Trade what we see on our charts and what the price shows.

If you read, study and take notes of my posts Oct 18 BTC trades, you will learn how to trade the market conditions when the Weekly and Daily chart. Note the Oct17 Friday Daily candle/bar as a good example and why I would trade the M5 yesterday.

Thank you @emmanuel7788 for your contributions. I always try to study your charts and price action and complement them with the GoldenCross system from the master @SwingMan. As I mentioned in a previous post, I don't speak English, so sometimes there are things I don't interpret correctly.

Following your BTC/USD post: After reviewing the weekly and daily timeframes, and once the higher trend has been established, in the lower trend (intraday), would it be a good entry point to sell in this case, once the 1-2-3-4-5 swing high has formed and candle one is broken? Not only has it been broken, but the confluences of the GoldenCross system are also present.
