Hi amigo

Yes I'm not a big fan of candles with large bodies , for a simple reason: the stop loss. Mine is manual (except when first entering a trade, where an automatic stop is set based on the current ATR). It's just a personal preference, and it sometimes means I miss out on good trades.

I'll still post trades, but only those that don't involve my RSi , as I don't want to include an oscillator on the thread (choros uses no oscillators).

I have already switched to GU, EU, and UJ, and I'm adding m5 as well.

I feel much better about it because I don't have to wait as long and I reach my daily goal faster.

This was an interesting setup; the plan was good, and the context was right.

However, the DAX usually hits the take profit very fast, and it just didn't this time. What's the move? I decided to hold on for a bit, but I was really hesitant. That's why I went to BE. I don't have a strong conviction about this one. We're in a reversal—it's risky, and BE did exactly what it was supposed to. But what happened next felt like the market was just laughing at me. Still, one good thing: the Scoop worked brilliantly, and I saw it coming!

That's life. Next.

I am best able to take risks and look forward to them in the morning.

Once I have achieved my daily target, or even just half of it, this willingness to take risks disappears.

I always take a break at lunchtime and then take another look in the afternoon with a fresh perspective to see if I want to take any risks.

It's the same for me. But out of necessity: the Dax is more brutal in the afternoon, particularly during the first two hours of the American session. It calms down after the Cash market closes at 5:30PM . This results in a calmer work cycle after 6 PM, and therefore less stressful. But at that time, I have other things to do; I don't take advantage of that cycle.

Great ! Short time frame are not so bad on Choros...

Another example: A really usefull and easy trick on Dax (perhaps on forex to... i don't know).
=> ema 10 moves CLEARLY away from 35-50
=> Price far from ema10
=> price meets a support or resistance.
=> oscillator hits 20 or 80.
========> Reverse => take profit : ema 50.

The contexte is VERY important, be carefull !

My Oscillator : RSi 5 periods with two ema (7 and 15). I tinkered a TDi to get the same thing.

Sorry for the oscillator on Choros, but sometimes it's easy to take a very good countertrade with a good timing thanks to this trick, so i share it.( the trade is with two full positions, +72 points )

and for me also overnight positions are a no-go, because of gaps&swaps;-)

Dax Cash has returned to the gap that had been left open for a few days. That's a very typical pattern for this asset.

Edit: It looks like the rare "Church Pattern"...

That's the reason I hate swing trading. I feel that this kind of trading has become too risky.

35/50 bounce => + 42.

I'm not taking any risks, there's a possible resistance zone. It's also the opening price of the Cash market this morning. I don't know how the price will react. There's a gap to close just above that cash open, we'll see.

The candlestick of entry was a bit to big for me...
