Took 15 of the short then 15 on the long..... If this keeps up I'll be here all day.

Yeah. Tomorrows range is going to be huge!!!

Looks like it is a good day to teach us how you trade when we have left the pivots behind Dove.

I guess you just rely on your indicators.

Looks like that is it for awhile unless the dollar does something during its announcements...... I made plenty today so I just sit it out until this evening.

I would still be very nervous about going long until there is something on my longer term charts, 30 min, 1 hour etc to signify we are at a bottom, and I would also be nervous about going short after such a range of moves.

You must be near 200 pips eh Dove?

I did make pips a plenty on the drop, but all tiny tiny as they were what I call 'speculative', that is not based on easily identifiable reasons to enter, such as indis or pivots/resistance.

edit: Including the 100 pip swing trade overnight I'm up 397 pips today on UJ. Shame only small $'s. Closed all my larger short positions way too early.

I hope everyone is doing well. How do not just hit sell. It seems every after noon when I see red on the stock market I sell. I think it is because they are taking money out of the market and one place they are putting it is bonds causing our U.S. $ to get stronger. Right now people are doing it in mass numbers.

It is posted on this thread several times, and it may sound absurd, but don't think. When you try and think, it will go wrong.

Analyse yes, think no.

I don't see any reason not to look for short. Just picked up another 10 pips on a short from the bounce of 114.41. Look for these areas and trade accordingly.

Well, let me tell it like this...... 1 second after the announcement it would spike in a blink of an eye 75 - 100+ pips; in the same blink it retrace back to the pivot of the candle and in the next blink it would go the other direction as many pips as it first took off...... That would go on for 20 minutes or more and if anyone was in the market at that time and was in the wrong trade that person would had been in some big doo-doo...... Why did it do that; no one knew..... and it did that every first Friday of the month for over a year.

Was anyone on this thread around at that time when the non-farm payroll announcement was good..... Because it was good; after it settle down there was 130-180 pips to be made in the trend that lasted ALL day long.

Looks like all the weak dollar longs are flushed out. Let's see if we have a bottom. Almost all of the Jpy crosses are at almost at the exact levels where they started their big rallies.
