Hello, I'm new to the thread, but I do hope to catch many pips using this method. Are there any active traders using it on the H1? And does it work well with all pairs?

Hi Erebus, are you referring there to the initial posts in that "No free lunch but all the coffee you can drink" thread? Or to something else (in which case could you possibly post a link to it, please?). These super-long threads are interesting for people new to the forum, but quite hard to navigate - thanks for understanding!

I mainly was referring to this thread, as they quoted much of Peter Crown posts in the first few posts.
A way to see any and member's posts is to click their name and then on Thread Replies.
Here is Peter Crown, but all his posts seem to be in the No Free Lunch anyway, not that many but very influential.
Interesting to see that he has not posted since 2009
but still lurking as recently as February 2025?

Daily stuck in a range, RSI not making any headway.
The 4-Hour has inside bars also, has to break one way or other, right?
And the 1-hour could show the way, maybe just for today, what you see?

This has to be in the top 10 of Inside Bar setups ever, on Daily that is, Monday Mother Bar + Tuesday Pin Bar, break last week's low, and there was news coming, which came as expected, finally a currency does go weak when rate was lowered.

So you are using the DIBS method on the daily chart and I guess the weekly open price sets your bias for the whole week ahead?

Yes, the weekly open can help, but when trading daily inside candles, and breakout, the market can go either way, don't be too fussy!

No free lunch indeed...an apt name for how the strategy is doing so far. 3 trades altogether, 1 loss on USDCHF,

There is a very good reason I want to follow Mr Crowns' rules and that is that he had 30 years success trading this way. No point me doing this if I change the main rules.
Now, the strategy might not work anymore, I get that. 2009 is a long way in the past and all the 3 decades of success was before that.
Let's see where we go from here.
