Hello to all friends
in this topic we intend to talk more about Ichimoku and share our knowledge
I will also share whatever I know in the form of pictures
I would be happy if anyone who has knowledge in this field joins this group
I have little time during the day, but I try to post something about it at least daily or weekly
(Warning: This is an educational space for sharing knowledge. Not everything said here is necessarily 100% correct. These are personal perspectives on Ichimoku. Before using any information, learn and test it in a demo account. You are responsible for your own risk.)

This is the Ichimoku components image that is found everywhere, but I recommend not to pass it by easily. Study each component carefully to understand how the shifts and switches between Tenkan & Kijun or Span A & B happen and where. It will greatly improve your visual and analytical understanding. Whatever indicator you use, even a simple moving average, study it to grasp it well. If you understand it, it becomes usable; otherwise, it is just another tool like the others.

All components of Ichimoku must be viewed together. Some people only use one part of Ichimoku and ignore other elements, while in reality, all of them should be considered simultaneously. All components work together and collectively build the present, past, and future.

First of all, let me explain why Ichimoku—why I’ve spent so much time on it.
I was looking to improve my entry points. I used moving averages to avoid entering just anywhere and at least to have the price close above them, but in many cases, it was too late, and my stop loss became large, which messed with my trade management. Then I saw Ichimoku, and the Tenkan line... gives you much better entries and, unlike moving averages, often doesn't give false signals during trends. This was how I got familiar with Ichimoku, and now it’s not just about entries and exits at all. I realized it’s the only indicator that simultaneously shows you the present, past, and future, and understanding it can greatly help in comprehending market cycles.

(I don’t want to repeat all the basic tips that are already available everywhere. That’s why I’m moving quickly through them. But if you really want to learn, read all sources properly, study, and test them yourself. I’m sharing a summary of what I’ve spent a long time mastering. For a deeper understanding, read all available resources.)

Tenkan Sen/Kijun Sen Cross: Part I

In all sources about crosses, it is mentioned that there are two types of crosses: bullish cross and bearish cross.
Bullish cross: When the Tenkan-sen crosses the Kijun-sen upwards.
Bearish cross: When the Tenkan-sen crosses the Kijun-sen downwards.

But here is one important point: the slope of the Kijun also matters. The slope of the Kijun should change direction in alignment with the cross; otherwise, the cross might have occurred due to market noise and high volatility.

Pay close attention to the slope of the Kijun at the crosses. They can be very helpful to you. Try first to observe Ichimoku and its components on a clean chart, noticing where their flat lines change direction and so on; this can be very useful. Here, because it wasn’t clearly visible, I used an indicator to convey the concept better.

I will talk later about which crosses are truly good and can bring us good profits. For now, if you examine crosses and the slope of the Kijun on the chart a bit, I think it will give you many hints.

All the indicators are available in the topic I mentioned . You can download them from there. They are not special or unique indicators

hey, just want to share about ichimoku -

 

  1. better when use in 1d, 1w, 4h timeframe (lagging indicator)
  2. want to day trade - 1hr could be good
  3. Always follow a trend, wait for a trend to happen, enter and hold and hold till the trend closes (Swing Trading)
  4. The 5 lines are very very equally important , the cloud slope , thickness and the 2 ema lines diff b/w them all these things matter if u are on a smaller t.f , will help u in finding reversals , and remember price bouncing by hitting the cloud is real buy/sell signal


P.S - there is no holy grail in trading, no indicator generates money, what will eventually make u profitable is the time spent
MY recommended time before adopting ichimoku - 6 months of daily use
