At the risk of sounding like a shameless plug, I am posting my Kumo Trader forum URL here in case any of you would like to discuss Ichimoku Kinko Hyo with a very knowledgeable and active trading community that uses this charting system exclusively. It's the only online forum dedicated to the study of Ichimoku Kinko Hyo, so I think you would get a lot out of browsing through the posts and articles available there.
I can assure you I do not make any money whatsoever via this forum, nor is that my interest. I am only interested in spreading the word about Ichimoku and getting traders to learn more about it than what is bandied about in so many forums. It is a straightforward but multi-faceted system that does require some dedication to learn, but it rewards those who take the time very well.
The URL is: www.boersmaandhunt.com/kumotrader_forum.
Apart from being the moderator of the forum, I also post Ichimoku Kinko Hyo analysis daily along with my business partner, Vincent Hunt on our joint site at www.boersmaandhunt.com. It's 100% free as well as ad-free, so I welcome you to come visit us and learn more about this powerful trading methodology.
If you have any specific questions about Ichimoku Kinko Hyo, I would be happy to help out as I do specialize in this charting system.
As far as the 'general rules' of trading outside of the cloud , can a trader also use the 'general rules' of the 3 time frame method so that if you have an 'above the cloud' picture on each of the hourly, 3 hour, and daily, then longs would be in play?
Thank you for introducing your Kumo Trader forum.
I was surprised at the site which many people match against Ichimoku.
In Japan, I heard that Ichimoku Sanjin made Ichimoku Kinko Hyo(made in Japan), stock traders (they are not day trader) usually study Ichimoku.
Thanks to computer, we can view Ichimoku immediately...Ignored
