Are we looking at a 'Spring' refersal pattern in M15 / H1; price dipped briefly below 1.6818.
Or bears too strong at the moment?

HIGHER than expected CPI (e.g. Core CPI m/m +0.4%)
EUR/USD drops toward 1.1650–1.1600
Probability SELL 85%
→ FED likely to delay cuts or talk hawkish again

IN LINE with expectations (e.g. Core CPI m/m +0.3%)
EUR/USD may chop between 1.1670–1.1720
Probability SELL 65%
→ FED stays neutral, no major change

LOWER than expected CPI (e.g. Core CPI m/m +0.2%)
EUR/USD rises toward 1.1740–1.1780

Just opened the charts, glass of coffee next to me, took a sip and nearly spilled it looking at the 5m TF . Anyway, CPI today, took a loss yesterday, coming in strong today looking for some longs. I have marked out an area around 1.16650 and 1.16550. If price presents the keys for me to go long, so be it. And hoping for price to come around and sweep the high from yesterday at 1.17323 by the end of the day! Good luck to everyone today!

No, I use the lines a lot, as you can see in previous posts. When both PPI numbers we surprising in the same direction, most of the times CPI did so as well. Usually CPI is published first and PPI after. This week is one of the rare occasions, where it is the other way around.

Both PPI numbers suprised on the down side. Likelihood that CPI surprises to the other side is 16%. Therefore there is an 84% chance, that CPI will surprise on the downside as well or will come in as expected.
