Today NFP should see this pair breakout the 148.00 range, either up or down. Expecting breaking the 100% daily average range.

Price could have potentially blown past my stop loss?

I could have possibly targeted .786 or 1.000.

Hi Dave, if price didn’t go my way, I wonder if a 70+ pip move in one minute would have blown past my stop loss. I’d expect there to be some slippage.

The USDJPY price action on the daily time frame is sideways at the 147.380 intra-day horizontal support. The recent technical prints favour a southward liquidity sweep before any further northward market engineering.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

With Ishiba resignation you're looking at over 100 pip gap up currently when market opens.

Price is currently sitting at 148.26.

You are very correct , the price will gap up , if you check xe.com , you will see that current price of usdjpy is around 148.18. I am on sell position and this may affect my account

I had no option than to make withdrawal of the available balance from my free margin because there is no guaranty that the account can survive the gap, that is why I prefer a broker that allows 24/7 withdrawal chance . That will cushion the effect of the loss. For those on sell of usdjpy, manage your risk in any way you can
