no prop would work with you together when you teach how you win with a prop!!! they only work with you together when you teach how to lose (of course you can name if that you win or fake whatever you want), or the prop would lose - do you think Patrick has cooperation because he creates winners - the only chance he has a good cooperation's is when he creates losers (send losers to the props) so the prop company wins by this and can give a profit split to him from this! logic thinking is important - they would never work together with him if he teaches how to win and send winners to them!

To you points, as a rule I do not 'follow' traders, never copy trade or use other people's systems. I do enjoy some content like Orderbloque on YT (but I don't subscribe to anyone on there, nor use any other social media). I find it stilts my analysis and the whole point of trading is to refine my own system(s). I also find it hilarious that a lot of people make more money from ad revenue and subscriptions than they do from actual trading. That is quite telling. Those that can't, teach.

Respectfully though, I do not agree that a legitimate prop firm wants to make the bulk of their money from signups alone. that is from 'losers' as you stated. The fees are relatively low, and many have no time limits. So they are paying platform fees and for data with no upside unless said trader passes the challenge and they can replicate trades en vivo on la larger scale, and on a smaller prop account the upfront sign up would only cover the operational costs plus a small margin. They'd make far more by following their business model as stated. However I am aware of some ethical funds exiting this space due to shenanigans, so I'm sure what you are saying does happen from time to time. Caveat emptor, YMMV, etc. etc.

The space seems saturated but maybe not if you bring something exciting and unique for the youngsters who are probably the least discerning in terms of target audience that converts into Prop $. I have watched PW and lasted 20 minutes, the noise and general level of hysteria going on was too much for me but I can see why he would be a good investment from the prop firm perspective. in this case i spoke about prop firms that dont copy trades (what is biggest amount of this prop, whatever they say!)... so they will only earn from losing traders. So they only work together with people who teach losing, guide people for bad strategies , teach gambling, fake a lot so they look like good traders but are opposite (so fakers and liars are best to work together)..... all you need to do is avoid someone who brings you winners because he teaches good trading, good strategy, goods methods - that would never create any win for the prop company (in fact creates big losses ! or at least bad publicity when you cheat them for the money by say they broke some rules never was there or something else ) so you cant pay this affiliate person any money for this. So for anyone connected as influencer to such firms, this person need to be a bad trader or liar and faker, that is the base rule you cant break to earn affiliate money from a Company living from loser and get destroyed by bring to many winners. so never think great about this persons connected, because they cant be great in any kind - they only want to look to be great (but it is enough for our times, enough people believe what people say, not what is reality or simple rules by math).

Hello,
I have a funded account in instant funding..
I am always facing difficulties with on-demand payout..
My strategy work 3rd time on average (a 1:5 TP after 2 SL)
So this disturbs the profitable day scenario..
How to cater this?

This discussion is fairly interesting compared to the usual suspects this guy chats to. It is with 5% ers CEO and not the normal zero to a gazillionaire in a month clown.
Some talk around regulation and risk models too.

The title is quite a thing - Scalpers lose most accounts.....

Why not they give the whole context - 95% of traders fail no matter scalper, day or swing....
When it comes to props - this number is more higher for the traders who reach payout..... Also most of the props traders are mostly gamblers looking for get rich quick using imaginary maths....

99% of traders who got massive payouts from Apex are scalpers....

Just because you don't give up doesn't mean you will make it.

They suck. They are quite restrictive. FTMO is a much superior prop firm.

What is the stop-loss rule for The5ers?
A stop-loss is mandatory for all positions and orders and must be set within 3 minutes of placement. Stop-loss (SL) is required for all positions and orders. SL must not risk more than 2% of the account balance per position. 3% daily pause ("soft breach") applies during the funded stage.

plus a CEO of a company winning from losers will maybe have an interest to be not very honest to speak about what strategy bring them most loss and most wins.

I don't protect or care about 5ers. But stoploss is a bad thing ?
You trade without it ? We all trade differently my stop and target
goes in same time with entry.

Yes I trade without SL and soon I will be trading an FTMO account.
I asked FTMO about having to use SL. They said they don't interfere in their traders trading style.
That means the 5ers have decided to interfere in their traders trading style. Why would I choose 5ers over FTMO?

The stop loss rule is only for the bootcamp program. Normal 2-step (High Stakes) and 1-step (Hyper Growth) doesn't require it.

FTMO will also flag if you consistently risk more (as will the5ers). This is FTMO's email to me:

Basically, they're asking me to restrict my risk (that would be setting a SL) so that no more than 1% is risked between correlated symbols. Granted, I was doing risky trading (which I have acknowledged in the old thread when I received the email) by doubling down near my daily loss limit, and when it reversed immediately I ended up with a pretty healthy profit.

Personally, I prefer the5ers, and I don't think FTMO are superior in anyway. the5ers have faster payouts, cheaper evaluations, easier passing rules, and better spreads for most majors. FTMO has better spreads for gold and indices.

I donno, one one hand they say your trading style is up to you and on the other hand they closely monitor your trading style and send you emails like you posted,
Navk is right...why bother with these props?
Axi Select is then the gold standard of all. No interference or nasty emails from them no matter what I do as long as I don't breach the 10% DD
Maybe I should scrap FTMO from my plans.

Yes agreed. I have heard this same mantra for so long and then the CEO says he is scalper. I never listen to all the stats BS, always thought of it as poison chalice that plants a subliminal seed. I'm not sure but I never hear about the amount that try but fail to make it as a neuro surgeon. For me what was more interesting, that this guy and possibly others with the top market share are actively pushing for this particular sector to be regulated. Again is it for our benefit or to narrow the field of options available to us? He said they don't share information with other props and they don't look at individual traders but adamant they have a method to root out anyone gaming between firms to ensure they don't get to funded. I think perhaps there was some bluffing going on as some of that particular bleed hurts them but they finding it difficult to control. However saying they can out loud may prevent more if he gets his face and message in front of enough of these BS influencer interviewing hosts.
