I recently came across the following interesting comment from TooSlow:

There is no edge with any trading system. The only "edge" is the trader who can manage risk, be consistent and control their emotions like fear and greed.
If a trading edge existed, there would be a program doing the trading and nor a human. The high frequency programs exploit things slow humans aren't capable of doing.

I really liked this approach to the system, which is both simple and visual. On a very volatile asset like the Dax, the Arha configuration, combined with the crossover of the 10 and 20 EMAs (20 ema is not on the original Choros), creates a very strong bullish bias. This configuration is very reliable. In any case, it's better not to get in the way of the price...

Clays S/R are timeless.

nethertheless over many years i added some other good S/R levels/zones i found for the matter of confluence or confirmation.

here are some:

-Pivots (d,w,m)
-fibos
-TL
-engulfings
-FVG (fair value gap)
-closing&opening prices (d,w,m)
-highs/lows

all have one common thing (except TL): they are horizontal lines in the sand.

Yes, I saw over time on the thread that additional levels were being added, and some moving averages.

As for me, the little window on the side of my screen, on the Daily timeframe, gives me the previous day's informations, today's, and the last few sessions. It's practical. The color of the Daily candle tells me the position of the current price relative to the current day's Open, which is simple. But since I work on the M3, I haven't added anything other than Clay's levels. Except the EMA 20 on M3, and the SMA 70 on H1. Anyway, we appropriate the system according to your needs... and we have to, by the way.

One thing I wanted to note, just for information: I've been trading the DAX 40 full-time. While I do look at other stock indices, I've noticed that the Nasdaq moves in a very similar way.
These two assets have great similarities in their chart kinematics. This is particularly interesting for very short-term trading. They are both volatile but can be tamed with a little work, and they are both very reactive. The French index, the CAC 40, is very slow by comparison... a nightmare!

"When the EMA 10 and EMA 20 are between 35 and 50, I've called this a Range Choros in my notes. It's a period that never lasts very long on very small timeframes , and allows for trades in both directions (theoretically, of course). Clay had talked about this (without the EMA 20, which is just a personal preference). Like any range, you preferably exit based on a major immediate level or an established trend on higher timeframes—the foundation of trading, nothing new. It’s very visual on Choros.

i closed also a GU trade in profit before NFP, but you know what can happen when its going the other, wrong way...
