For 4H swing traders it is good to exit all trades before New York closes at 5pm EST.

GBPAUD Aug 29 4Hr

- there's room for move lower but we risk the Frankfurt and London Open,

- my target is the low of the previous week 33 Aug 15

Hello everyone.

Is it possible to get a TDI indicator for MT5 with alerts? Specially for the RSI line with Signal line. But there are other crosses I find specially interesting like Main BB crossing down the 68 level and crossing up the the 32 level.
If it's available only for MT4 it would work too.
I came to this thread because I know how TDI is important here. Thanks for all the free education offered.

when using the synergy pro TDI your rules for entries and exits are not the same as the OP' of this thread.

I've started to understand how you analyze the weekly with ATR to identify the market. But I haven't figured out how you operate depending on the market you identify. For the three possible markets, I've gathered that you use different strategies and even EA. I know I should read the entire 3D, but it's 7,539 pages and I'd never get there. Could you tell us more about your trading, if I'm not being ungrateful?

You have several options when you do not want to read 7,539 pages 150,744 posts.

First option is this thread' OP last post #12,912 on Oct 2011. He died in Oct the following year 2012.

You only need to read, study and takes notes of all his 463 posts in this thread and that would lead you to read, study and take notes of 861 posts in his first thread where the 5-Method started.

Its important that you follow the OP @eelfranz posts and learn from his trading journey in Forex Factory. I trade the 5-Method and with the same methodology I developed several Money Management-based systems over the last 15 years. You need to learn the 5-Method and master that.

Here below I did summarized this thread years ago and posted several times.

In Post#1, he explained how he traded the H4 chart timeframe and he also traded the H1 chart during the NY session. This suited his lifestyle being retired and the time zone he lived. Sadly he passed away in Oct 2012.

When you are overwhelmed (information overload) by the number of posts and the loads of information and variations shared by other traders here, the best thing to do is to stop reading and go back to the basics what Big E mentioned in his 463 posts in this thread and 861 posts in the CHS thread. First you learn and master the 5-Method first before you start add your own tweaks and make a new system.

Recommendations:
Read all of Big E posts... 861posts in the Craig Harris Stochastics thread and 463 posts in this TMS thread....and make notes on those training charts he posted. Pay attention whenever he mentioned PA and what you see on his training charts.

Post #647 Learn the basic stuff about forex trading first. A good place to start is www.babypips.com/school

If you want to trade the way Big E described in Post#1, make sure you use his template , the Synergy APB / HA candles and use that TDI Red Green version. These are in Post#25.

Important to Note that the TDI Red Green version repaints all the bars in history so you cannot use this when you do back-testing by scrolling back your charts. The better way is to run this in live market and trade the TMS setups based on what you see without refreshing your charts. When you want to trade with entries on the APB#1 and APB#2 candles, always wait for the price bar/candle to close and use the TDI to confirm the setup.

Big E was a rules-based discretionary trader. According to studies by Dr Van K Tharp this rules-based discretionary are the best traders,
